100% agree. I HATE moments. I am not doing monthly rewards programs this year since all the moments are most likely now mandatory to complete it. I am not even sure why the Topps Now cards are sellable. Anyone doing the monthly reward program all the way through has to do those moments anyway and will get them for free (if free means doing all the Topps Now moments). It doesn't even make sense either, SDS should want us buying collections with stubs or at least that to be a choice.

The pitch speeds are not Rookie once they move the sliders. Not even close. More like All-Star.

I’ll use the Jeremy Peña one as an example. Here, we are to get 4 total bases in a game. Ok, fine.
But don’t give me a Peña card with 54 lefty power! Oh and on top of that, don’t have the team he’s hitting against pitch nothing but lefties most of the game.
I’m being set up to fail. Not for success.
That, in a nutshell, is what needs to change in Moments.
Not to mention the pitchers do not throw strikes most of the time. I end up swinging at 3 ball pitches regardless if it another ball.

Look at it this way, for the most part they de-emphasized Moments a lot this year. Daily moments appear to be no longer required for anything and can be skipped. There are enough ways to gain XP in the main program that you can skip all of the those program moments. So there are a lot less moments that seem required this year.
Until they required them in the Monthly Program.

Each week will take me at least an hour. That is too much wasted time for ME personally. So ya, I am not going to do them. Actually talking on this board is more enjoyable for me than doing moments. If I am going to waste time it will be doing something else as you suggest.

Moments aren’t baseball. They are busy work with a baseball skin.
This sums it up for me. I have always considered moments my chores and began to resent content tied to them. Only Red Dead Redemption making me do actual in game chores was more annoying. I spend my time building my collection, so I want to play games with the team I build, not playing anti-climatic scenarios. The only moment I will want to play in the future is the moment that these chores are taken out of the game.

If you go to other forums for MLB The Show across the web you will find people who will also insist that Diamond Dynasty isn't baseball and that real baseball fans play Franchise.
I mean the bottom line is that if you don't like doing something then don't do it. No card in this game is required. Nobody but you cares if you collect all of the cards.
If you don't enjoy Moments don't do them.
If you don't enjoy Conquest then don't play it.
If you hate online play then don't play it. (the category I fall into)We all have a choice. If some card is that important to you that you are willing to put yourself through countless hours of gameplay that you hate then that is on you.

missions in general suck but after playing extreme moments in 2020, I can tolerate these ones. ( the moments im referring too: I believe 3 HR with gehrig on HOF/legend and yelich 2 or 3 HR on legend or HOF as well)... mind you these moments are for the month so take a break if you get stuck on them
