Basement tv died, good news the wife is on board with needing to replace it. I know input lag and other things affect gameplay in a huge way for this game.

Looking for suggestions for Large TVs (70 plus inches) that have good specs from someone more savvy than myself.

TCL are pretty good. I've got a 6 series and I think it's like 12ms or something on game mode.

I’ve been researching this and TCL gets good reviews. There is also a Toshiba which has input lag of 10 or 11 (ms?). I think it starts with UL something or other. I think it is smaller than 70 inches though.

Take your gaming to the next level and get you a 1 MS monitor.

You're confusing input lag with response time. There are no 1 ms input lag monitors. The tcl is an excellent gaming tv, and competitive with any monitor. This isn't 5 years ago; many tvs are designed with gaming in mind.

Guys, he is asking for TV recommendations for his basement couch. Can we just relax with “the monitors are better”? I mean, we all know that monitors give the least input lag, but modern TVs are really quite good, and many of us are not going to notice the difference between 1ms and 11ms.

Thanks for all the responses, is input lag the major issue or is there something else I should be looking at spec wise? And yes, I'd love a monitor but this is also the kids play space/workout space/movie night venue so I gotta have the big screen feeling.

1ms is not input lag. Stop speaking about topics you don’t understand.

Most decent monitors have about 9-10ms of input lag. Many new tv’s can get very close to that so there is no reason to only think monitors for gaming. Samsung, TCL, etc...are brands to look at.
