Anything that involves a tangible asset will require lawyers. Lots of them. And I'd rather the team focus on other matters, not working out all the fine legal details for microrewards.

Completely agree.the devs need to focus on the entertainment value of what they produce and not on non related things that would take away from that

Yes they are, but NFT's, like the early dot.com bubble, aren't all going to pan out, 99% will probably lose, I doubt people will care if you are holding bored yacht ape club #753 in 3 years.

I'm waiting to see if any of those pan out or go the way of Betamax and LaserDiscs. Those were here to stay too. One main difference...you could touch those.

It's all the rage lately. I'm surprised there hasn't been any requests to integrate this into the game. And it is here to stay. But I don't see SDS doing it because if people are happy to earn a video game currency with no real-world value why would they integrate crypto and NFT's. I guess they would have to see other games doing it first.

You used to be able to touch music cassettes, CDs, and books. Everything that can go digital will go digital. Now money is going digital.
And people thought the internet wasn't going to be a thing back in the mid 90's. Now we can't live without it. -
Mid 90's? Try the mid 80's. I remember when it was only text and we used to worm our way to the library of congress for fun. When images started to show up, it was a pain in the neck because the formatting abilities were so rudimentary. Yes, things do go digital but not everything that is a fad will last. Only time will tell. By the time the mid 90's came around, we were having network parties (everyone brought a computer and we connected them in a ring) playing games.
We've come a long way baby...
