I do this if I get a bunt dancer / R2 holder opponent. I usually like to pitch quickly and in the zone but if the dude I’m playing wants to be annoying and check my pitch’s every time I’m going to give him all the time I have to do his thing.also if my opponent replays a home run we are watching every home run for the rest of the game wether they hit it or I do
I kinda got the feeling he was just trying REALLY hard to win.

Found one! Someone does something cheesy so I’ll do something cheesy back for the rest of the game. So you admit to playing like a 12 year old like the rest of these idiots? Ahh yes… the inevitable two wrongs make a right stance! Classic!

Ok I just played a ranked game in the 500’s where my opponent was trying SO hard that every pitch took years to come to the plate. I literally stepped out and called time just about every batter.
The thing is, this seems to only work once, so if your opponent doesn’t get the message, the game just drags and there is nothing you can do about it.
Sometimes literally after thinking about it for ages, he would come with a Center cut fastball so I started thinking he had stepped away from the game.
Oh, did I mention he ran his timer down to 18 seconds in the FIRST inning?
The worst. Just the worst ever.
Played a couple of these guys early in the year. It’s such a Bs move on their part. You get up by a few and they realize they probably won’t win so they watch every cut scene, take forever to pitch, etc……..hoping you quit.
There isnt really anything SDS can do if people have no life and want to do that.

If someone is bunt dancing or doing whatever it is to be toxic and annoying, you better believe I'm gonna be replaying my home runs. I'm not going to try and bunt cheese them or play toxic to get the win cause generally those players suck anyways, but I have absolutely no qualms about showing them up for playing like an a$$. They deserve it and I'll never feel bad about doing it. Absolutely nothing wrong with that imo.

I don’t understand the toxic play thing. I have been playing DD for years and I can honestly say I’ve never done one of these tactics. Even when I’m getting smacked I never dashboard a HR. I always let them fall and then quit like a normal person. If you’re getting beat, get beat like a man and move on.
-
Agreed. The other day, I had a guy dashboard on me in the tenth inning after he grounded into the third out. I can’t understand why someone would play ten innings and then quit.
-
not gonna lie. I've seen all forms of cheese and I usually have a countercheesing tactic I can go to. It's like mutually assured destruction, trolling me, cause we'll both go down. It's why Russia never launched nukes at the US and vica versa - it's clear that it would go real bad, real quick. But the one tactic I can't handle is the slowplay like you describe. I should battle it out, but I usually lose patience, go on tilt, and just quit. It's the lowest form of game-trolling, IMO. Bunt dance, throw at my head once per batter, do what you will. But at least DO it, ya know?

Haha I’ve played you 2 or 3 times VK. And the games were fun and competitive. But then you quit . No big deal or anything, I’m just wondering now if I paused the game or something and that’s why you quit. I normally don’t pause for a long time, but every once in awhile it’s probably happened.

My bad dumptruck. Rage quitting is a bad habit of mine. Not to worry though - my new years resolution is to stop quitting haha. GG though!
-
Haha no worries at all bro! Like I said they were good clean games and super close. So I was mostly just bummed to see ya go lol
