Can somebody explain to me what's up with Trout's quirks? I'm still new (my every post excuse) so what is the difference between active quirks and regular quirks? I keep hearing that Trout has no active quirks which I thought meant he had none at all but he has 9.
Not sure what he's missing and why people are commenting.

They took his MVP card from MLB The Show 20, fluffed his contact numbers even higher, then turned it into a Finest card for MLB The Show 21.
He hit .266 vs LHP in 2019. 112 Contact is such a sham but whatever

There are active quirks for Live Series cards and flashbacks for this season (Topps Now, POTM, AS, PS, and Finest). Some examples are breaking ball hitter - gets a PCI boost against breaking balls or first pitch hitter - gets a PCI boost against the first pitch of the at bat.
You can find a full list in places. There are active quirks for pitcher cards of the same series as well.
Legend cards and flashbacks of current players from previous seasons do not get those Active Perks.

Active quirks affect your performance in game. If you go and look up CBrev on YT, you will see a good video on how active quirks actually influence things such as PCI size, etc.

I put an order for Trout the day he came out. Still haven’t got him and not sure if I ever will. There’s still over 2000 sales for 1 million.

In your opinion is the Trout Finest card worth putting in a million stub order for, better off waiting for his price to go down or just not worth getting at all?

I have almost everyone in the game and it’s getting towards the end of the games life cycle. So yes. Absolutely. Also I don’t know how much cheaper he will get. There’s still over 2000 cards pending at 1 million. He might not come down in price for a while.

By my count 40 have been sold so you might be 18 or so off, you may get him by the weekend. Me i'm thinking late January at the earliest i'm order number 1882.

Trout never received a 2019 Finest card.
All other 2019 Finest cards either say 'Fan Vote' or 'Select' at the bottom of the card to signify whether they earned their Finest status via fan vote or being selected by the SDS team) with the exception of Javy Baez who was the pre-order bonus.
Trout's 2019 mega card was a Signature Series that served as one of the 10th Inning Bosses.
This card is a fraud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Matches his track record on the field. Great player, but he has been anointed the GOAT for no good reason IMO.

Got my Trout a few hours ago and was somewhere in Top 30 if that helps people benchmark.
