Like I mentioned above he asked for more black catchers and mentioned 2 specificcific names. If he asked for their to be an equal number of black catchers as white catchers then yes I would say it's ridiculous but he didn't .

All you do is come on these forums to try and bash on people and make people feel stupid so don't try to act like mr. Innocent, it's sad. Opinions are opinions, those don't matter as much to me. There are plenty of things you have said confidently that are just straight up wrong. I applaud the confidence but not much else. -
I am pretty sure that SDS would love to have the right's to Roy Campanella. He was a multiple MVP winner and they already have Jackie, Duke, and Pee Wee. I would love to use Campy in my lineup.

I can see this post getting taken down any second. But I am all in favor of more Negro League players being in the game. Satchel Paige vs Babe Ruth might be the only moment I have ever looked forward to.

Elston Howard won an MVP in 63 as a catcher. That would be a decent card to use. More opportunities for people to learn about past players is a good thing.

The person who is the OP should not be berated for making this request. The is NO wrong with anyone taking pride within their own race & heritage and seeing it represented within this game, especially within the position they are least seen in. The OP is a buying customer to this game just lime all of you are & he has the right to make this request.
Now this is my official reply to the OP. Reason why there are not currently more catchers of the nationality you mentioned is because either #1) SDS has not made personal agreement with those players or their next of kin for SDS being able to use their name & likeness. #2) SDS has not even considered those players to be of those to seek out rights to.
If anyone hasn't noticed MLB recognizes the lack of black baseball players in MLB. They have been targeting inner cities by funding little league teams and have urged black MLB players to take a lead role in those communities. The original poster is asking why there aren't more black catchers in game while MLB is asking the same question in real life.
