I am in love with this parallel system. It’s definitely my favorite addition to the game from recent memory. It prolongs the life of some cards deeper into the year and being a baseball card fan in real life it adds another level of accomplishment when you get a low number. But before I get toxic again about server issues or something stupid I just wanted to give SDS an atta boy this really is a great game so far.
I have been asking for a 99 Harper wearing number 3 for months and you not only delivered but made him free. Thank you. Drop the 2022 pre-order now so I can blindly follow you through these troubled times. Love you always SDS no matter how many of my older posts suggest otherwise.
I wondering if it's just me or not but for guys who mostly grind vs the CPU as the game gotten more annoying this year? I feel like they tried to make it harder but they didn't you still dominate you just have less fun playing. For example rookie is unplayable the easiest levels to play against is vet or all-star, because the pitchers cant hit the strike zone and then magically dot something. I know the answer it to wait on your pitch and draw more walks and "get good" but all this really does is drag out the game more. It make playing less fun when you know it's going to take 3 times as long as it used to.
I feel like usually I make it to fall before the game feels stale and I want to take a break but it's coming way earlier this year.
The real low of todays update is that we got 10 more 5k cards put into the pool of diamonds for packs.
Obviously there's not much good about being stuck in the house for months but it did work perfectly for SDS's release of this game so I'd imagine they have had an all-time high for sales and people playing and all I see on this forum is people complaining about the game. I hate to agree with the whiners but they have some valid points the game isn't much fun right now. But I guess just like the game SDS had an easy pop fly and let it bounce off their head.
I agree. I was excited to see who it would be and now I'm probably not going to go out of my way to try to complete it.
I'll start by saying that hopefully there's some positive ideas in this and that someone that works with SDS accidentally stumbles across this on their lunch break. But I'm an offline player, I don't mind grinding and I probably enjoy collecting players as much as anything else on the game. I see people complaining on this thread almost every time there's a content release. So it leads me to believe that people overall aren't having as much fun playing this game as they had hoped to. I like most, dislike showdown and moments but still give them a try mostly to gain the XP that they are offering. I haven't had a moment this year yet that I haven't been able to beat but countless that have left me annoyed and wanting to turn off my game. The Clemente program seems to be a huge topic of conversation for offline players because you either have to suffer through the showdown or play online to complete it. I will choose to play online because 5 wins in an event is a couple hours of play and it's much less frustrating than a showdown and I'm not horrible at the game so I will hold my own online. But online definitely has it's warts and I feel for the guys who just want to play online for a few hours a night and move on. The lagging and overpowered fastballs make it more annoying than it should be. And before the "GET GOOD" or the "THAT'S BASEBALL" crowds come and state the obvious, I agree with you but at the same time it's a video game we're not actually on a baseball field. But I want to see some ideas where we as a community think that SDS can improve on a video game that we are going to buy and play a lot regardless of how well they make it.
Wasn't he a headliner? Wouldn't he still be in pack circulation?
I was thinking the same thing playing the moments like Rest In Peace pal but boy does this guy stink!!!!

I've often thought about this MLB Players league. That's a ton of free advertising for them. And then to see the players complain about issues is quite a sight.
Yea it seems like the really just missed a shot by putting out a game that wasn’t ready.
I'm sure I am the massive minority but I think it's all so corny. I like when they use real topps cards for the art and I like the cards to be based on a specific year or a few prime years.
I get wanting to make the game more difficult and most of us seem to enjoy a challenge but they just made the game more annoying and time consuming.

Your probably in a slump. The other day I couldn’t hit nothing in mini seasons. Played like 7-8 games and dam near all my batters averages dropped down 2-3 points. It’s back up now I been hitting a lot better.
It’s been all weekend I might have to take a break and play RDR2 or something way different lol
Nerf hitting or am I just in the worst slump of my life? I’m trying to grind our xp to finish this program and level up some players against the CPU and I swear everything is a fly out. I’m assuming it’s just me because I haven’t seen in as a topic recently
I understand the motive for the future stars because for fans of about 15-20 teams currently they don’t have much to be excited for except their top prospects.
I dislike this way of doing inning cards (if it’s the same as FOTF) because you can’t sell the randoms you have no interest in using and having so many “bosses” makes it feel watered down.
I’d feel more excited about it if there were like 6 bosses of the true top prospects with elite cards rather than 30 cards with 10 or so cards for players outside of the top 100 prospects list who most likely never play for the team they’re representing.
I love the current program because I’m a Phillies fan but with that being said these inning programs have been horrible. Hopefully they have some amazing ones set for later in the year

I’d like to see a 99 for him, but it’s unlikely. Hopefully we get something like an all-star or second half card so he eventually gets a 99.
Smells a lot like a 2nd Half card in a Phillies jersey at this point.

@msacks11_psn said in Friday’s Inning Drop: With the Oswalt reveal today I’m convinced that we get Doc on Friday. First and foremost thank you SDS!!!!! This is a great year for Phillies content. With that being said your showing too much love to the Phillies in these reveals which makes me think this Inning Doc will be a Blue Jay. I would have picked that the other way. His 99 card would have been a Jay as a prime series or something along those lines and the mid 90s diamond could have been a 2nd half card or an all star series card with the Phillies I think you can go either way really, give him a 94 to 95 Blue Jays All Star card and then his big card has to be his Perfect Game card later in the year. That way I think both cards are usable all year thanks to parallel getting the Blue Jays card up to a 98 or 99 at P5. Either way I am so happy he's in the game, as a Jays fan and lucky enough to see him pitch more then 10 times I can safely say his card will not leave my line up all year

After I made this thread I thought to myself the perfect game or the playoff no hitter is probably the 99 card. He won a CY Young for both teams too so that could be an option as well. I do regret that a was a broke high schooler for most of his Phillies career so i never saw him pitch in person.
