But are you a fan of the team? Because that really is all that matters. Clevelanders understand the Guardians perfectly well and seem to be fine with the change. Plus it makes a whole lot more sense then calling a team an Asian Country when they really meant to call them something else and just never fixing it when they were wrong. But I guess it makes as much sense as the LA Lakers, or the Utah Jazz, but after a while people just give up and it sounds normal even though it is silly.

I live in Utah and you can’t even find jazz on the radio station
Lakers came from Minneapolis in Minnesota "The Land of 10,000 Lakes" and even with the move to LA, they didn't want to change the team name. The Jazz came from New Orleans where again the team name made sense and the owners didn't change the name after a move to an area where the team name doesn't make sense.

Ok, the Cards run has ended. That was fun while it lasted and they got their spot in the playoffs. For the second ending will have to wait for Sunday to see if there is an another ending of a streak or if that streak continues.
