So I live in Canada so prices might be different but its not so much that I can't afford a good one, because I have enough money just don't want to spend too much on one when I can get a solid one for a good price.
What do you recommend to someone for a gaming monitor especially for this game?
I watched a video and seen the differences and couldn't believe it.
I'm not too smart with the whole FPS and hz stuff

I have an MSI 32 inch curve monitor. It works great on this game. I got it about a year ago at Walmart for under $400.00 The key in my opinion is looking for a monitor with good response time. I think mine is 1MS and refresh rate of 144. If you have any other questions I'll try to answer them the best I can.

You can get a perfectly solid BenQ Zowie for under $100. I paid $40 USD for mine pre-owned two years ago

I have a BenQ RL2755HM. Got it about 2 years ago for around $275. Great for competitive quick twitch games but I want a better picture. I can’t wait for the next wave of monitors for next gen to drop. If you have a next gen console, I would definitely save your money and wait.

Unfortunately I don't yet but if I get one what would be best do you think for that?

The higher the refresh rate the better.

Im looking at either asus, acer, or viewsonic. All 3 have some very nice 32in monitors coming out hopeful later this year that are loaded with some great specs. Once they officially drop I’ll compare then decide. The reason I want a 32in is because from what I’ve read, a 32in is the sweet spot for a 4K monitor. I want to have a nice set up to take advantage of next gen power. Youll for sure wanna get a monitor that has 4k, hdmi 2.1, 144 refresh rate (ps5 capped at 120) and 1ms response time. The ones I’ve been looking at are expensive (around $1000) but they’ll for sure have other models that will have one or two less features that are lower in price. Just depends what you want and how much you wanna spend. If your interested in looking at monitors now or just wanna check some out.. go to Rtings.com. Theyre great and talk about all the specs of certain monitors they review. Very helpful and where I’ve learned a lot. Hope this helps brother. Anything else, just ask. There are some other good dudes on here too that know there stuff.

Some people say that but the ps5 is capped at 120. Pretty sure SDS also said the show is 4K at 60 too.

Edit - Xbox series x also is at 120.

Do not buy a monitor just for MLB the show. Save your money.

I’m running dual Asus VG27AQ monitors. I do quite a bit of PC gaming as well, they run regular $550 here in Canada.

I was originally using a C7 OLED but hitting was almost impossible so I moved my Xbox to my monitor. Obviously this wasn’t just for The Show but I’m enjoying this setup a lot more for gaming.

I disagree. You’re at a significant competitive disadvantage on a tv. If you want to be a competitive online player, buy a monitor

I bought this one off Amazon last summer. Used it for a month until I got the ps5. It's like brand new. Works great and no complaints. Would sell for a cheap price to a fellow show player. Let me know.

I made a thread earlier saying the AW2521hf or whatever is the best. It was awarded best gaming monitor on rtings I believe.

I got a ZowieXL2411K to try it and it is by far the best. I can tell by the controller vibration and hit results the timing is different on the Zowie than any monitor I have tried yet.

    It is 199 on Amazon.
