The outfield is bad.

Outfield is a problem, but I can't tell you how many times I've had infielders...silver/gold defense, bobble the ball on ground balls.

I've lost more games due to errors than anything. Balls aren't just supposed to drop off a player lol

I've had Judge who is a diamond (90+ fielding rating) have 5 missed catches because he doesn't lock onto the ball or because he gets the animation where he's camped under it but starts looking around like he can't find it and it falls behind him. Infielders have way too many errors as well. I don't understand how this game has the same problems at the beginning of every single year.

Outfielders stumbling and falling to the ground is frustrating and needs to go. It’s something you never see irl, but I’m seeing it too often in The Show 20. Wasn’t as big of an issue in the past. It would rarely happen. Hopefully SDS promptly addresses it.

Yeah im with you on that, last 2 days alone mondesi at short runs to catch a liner left middle and doesnt put up his glove the ball literally bounced off his face, amd today Granderson running back to the wall on a liner doesn't turn around and the ball goes right through his body. This could be a really awesome game with minor fixes. I mean ima still play it tho

Fielding is still the same after the patch: horrible. I reported it twice before the patch. So i guess it needs to be addressed again.

If mlb truly made this many errors in the outfield. ...I'd play now at 50 yrs old. Lol, not exactly but Errors in outfield are like no hitters in a way....you don't see them that often

Instead of balls going through the outfield walls last year, they fixed that by allowing balls to just go through fielders now. Well done!

The jogging animation is the worst. Running full speed to get to a ball with a man on 3rd. Instead of getting to the ball as fast as possible to get in position to make athrow. Game decideds to put me in a horrible slow jogging animation just to lazily catch the ball and slowly through in the infield with NO URGENCY at all.

Fielding is a joke right now. Actually, it's not. That would indicate humour, and there is nothing funny about fielders fumbling balls every third play or more, and outfielders simply not locking onto flyballs.
It's a complete and utter $h!t show atm.

I had Bader of all fielders no lock on, BADER! Best defensive CF in the game

I'm still having problems with Fielding. I'm playing franchise and had 2 light pop flys I couldn't get to, so I let them drop so I could grab and throw to the cutoff man only to have my guy run to them not put his glove up and the ball goes right thru them. It's getting far enough into the game this should not happen constantly.

I had Sandberg drop two easy pop ups in one game. C'mon, Sandberg, one of the best defensive 2B ever. That should never happen, or at least maybe once in 100 games.
