What is the single (super minor) detail that annoys you the most?

I love it when Trey Turner or Lou Brock stand up like they're looking over a wall before they steal and I get thrown out. Never have I seen a guy stand up before he tries to steal. Especially when they are two of the fastest players in the game.. Probably been thrown out 50 times like that this year...
-
I have a few:
-
“A ball that’s carrying!”
-
Intentional walk animations that take forever and cannot be clicked thru.
-
I loathe these time-suck Moments to begin with, so pitching moments where the pitchers come to bat just to drag the stupid things out even more tend to [censored] me off. It’s doubly annoying when the historical setting features an AL DH-era pitcher in an AL park.
-
-
Mine is when a play is completed in the field and either the catcher or infielder is throwing the ball back to the pitcher… they take so long and have multiple quick animations that triple clutch the ball before releasing it. Takes at least 5 extra seconds that feel like minutes.
-
I hate how easy it is to win on bunts.. I’ve lost games on walkoff squeezes Joey Gallo, Jose Ramirez after runners got on with bunts. Personally, even if it’s an easy way to win, it’s not something I do very often. It’s also not realistic to baseball today. Sure maybe once in their career those guys might do that but 99.9% of the time, you won’t see them bunting.
-
I always hate the way guys dive back into the base when a ball is hit in front of them. You are supposed to freeze, make the defense look you back and then you can retreat back to the base. Or if the defense does not look you back, advance after they make the throw. The CPU makes that impossible.
-
Check swing animation NOT matching the result meaning looks like it was a good check swing but get called a strike and vice versa obvious you go around but get the check swing call in your favor.
It's almost like the Check swing system is like RPG games where there is a inner dice roll and if it succeeds then good for you and if not then strike.
Small thing but annoying as heck

Since every Show I can ever remember playing:
The 1B covers second base on balls in the gap ALL the time. The 2B and SS both go out for the cut and all the sudden you got Big Papi or Vladdy JR straddling 2B taking the throw and nobody is covering 1B. When has this happened in real life?
It’s called a tandem. On balls in the gap both the middle infielders go to cut the throw off and the first baseman covers the bag. I rarely see it in the big leagues because guys have the arm to make the throw but it’s very common in college

You know that's done anticipating the play at 3rd right? The 1B covers 2nd in case the runner holds up and you have a chance to catch them retreating. What's he supposed to do stand on First w/ his thumb up his but?
2B or SS takes the cut, the other covers the bag. Please show me videos of 1B taking the throw at second on a close play. What’s the other middle infielder doing? Holding the other guys pocket?
I played first in college. We practiced that all the time. On a for sure double I always had to cover second. In this game perfects and cannon arms tend to mess with that programming. The fielders do what they would normally do in real life tho
The only thing I hated playing first was practicing tandems. Aka running 90 foot sprints for 20 minutes and never touching the ball

1 handed no doubt home run animations from a 2 handed follow through. Like Chris Davis and Nicolas Castellanos. It looks so choppy. Super minor, but that's the point right?

That is not what this thread is about. Please keep it to gameplay only, please.
People dictating what we are and aren't allowed to speak about.
You're blocked.
you just proved his point by doing that. Nice.
You're blocked too. You guys are only here to start sh!t.
You cant invite a conversation and then yell/complain for what people have to say.
I mean, he can...and he did...Just shows his personality though...Not a good look.

The bland commentary. We need some more exciting and varied commentary. Give us crowd cheering, commentator exaggeratingly calling a home run or defensive play, etc.

That the 99 overall Schmidt card is wearing bobos and not the Nike cleat like the card art shows or like the other Schmidt card. So small it's not worth complaining about but it bugs me.
This. Coupled with the fact he hit 4 home runs at Wrigley wearing the powder blue road uniforms. Yet the card art is in the home uniforms. SMH. But overall I’d say the in game cleats not being Nike is more annoying

I don’t even need exciting. Just something different. It’s the same thing in the same situations every game.
“Oh he’s really got the strikeout pitch working now, as he notched number 9.”
Like an announcer would literally say the same exact same every time a pitcher gets to his 9th K.
-
Probably already said it but it still annoys me. Ball hit to center or left and runner rounding second. Why is the cutoff man taking the cut from the right field side? That literally makes no sense. You’re trying to throw a runner out at third, let’s throw the ball 50 feet in the opposite direction of your target.
A couple times today I tried to throw to get a runner at third with the left fielder. He was like 20-30 feet from the bag. Why does he need to slow his throw with a crow hop?

As an offline player:
You get a runner to 2nd with 0 or 1 out. The A.I. will deliberately try to walk the next batter, just to set you up for a DP.
They get me at least 7 out of 10 times as I try to elevate or j e r k the low pitch. -

1st basemen not covering the bag on line drives to short right…betts or Clemente could easily get grandal if the 1Bagger went to the base
Hyper speed tag animations on borderline plays, usually trying to sneak a base, or retreating back
“A ball that’s carrying” equals, loss of all hope
Not being anole to restart a moment at any given time
Juiced fielders and heightened rate of double plays in showdown
Prior to companion app, typing in a buy Order hitting R2, hit confirm, “please enter a price”
Dummies that severely under or over cut the market
People that dashboard before the homerun lands
