I played MUT last year and became a pretty top player being top 50 almost every weekend league and I can tell you madden is horrible. It’s genuinely a terrible game. I make WS every season and have gone 12-0 once and I will enjoy DD so much more than madden every single day of the week. The whole issue is losing games from DDA but madden with the absolute worst. Any game between good players is just spamming the same overpowered formations and it always gets decided by a roll of the dice animation

I'll buy it just to play Franchise because I love football. But I'll wait until it's on sale, or towards the end of the season, because the OOB rosters are always garbage.

That's laughable since Madden has been the biggest joke since 18! The Show will still reign as a better all around sports game as much as everyone seems to hate it and complain about it. I've agreed with most of the arguments against the game when it comes to latency, freeze offs that occur for no reason, etc. But still, I know that at end of the day this is the game I love to play and love to hate. It's a happily every after, bad, abusive marriage.

Bwahaha! Madden is a TRAINWRECK. The bugs in that game put anything in the Show -- including intentional freezing and spamming R2 -- to shame. It's an absolute disgrace of a game.

Literally my mom can compete in Madden if I show her one money play and a blitz set up out of big nickel. The game has been an abomination since Madden 13. I guess you enjoy the rng dice roll gameplay that it has become. I know that it’s also in The Show via to PPs being a line out and a no PCI hit can go for a HR, but on Madden it’s EVERY SINGLE PLAY.

I considered checking myself into a psychiatric ward when I tried Madden last year.

It's so hilarious how people try to manufacture a rivalry between the makers of madden and the show, when in reality they likely don't even look at each other as competitors. I can say with a high degree of confidence that for the most part, neither company really cares all that much about how many games the other one sells.

Madden stinks.
MUT is a terrible grind.
And franchise mode added coach skill trees, a a new weekly gameplan system and a new scouting system that isn't even in the game at launch. Everything else in Franchise is exactly the same just behind some new menus.

Well, Madden launched with game breaking bugs in every game mode so it's definitely beating this game in that respect.

Lol, and this is it's best launch in years. But yeah, mostly the same stuff. And they are heavily punishing people who don't have PS5 or X. If you have an older console you are just buying last years Madden.
