LG C1 is excellent! Also four HDMI 2.1 ports for very future proof.
Monitors are nice but no reason to get anything over 120Hz as no console will support anything higher than that. Having a 144Hz monitor with a console that outputs at 60Hz won't make it the game any faster...
Add that 4k 120Hz monitors are $$$$.
The LG C1 ain’t exactly cheap either lol
But 2 questions for you Colin, 1 are you guys currently working on implementing 120fps for next years game or have things changed now that many games are being reworked for PS4 due to the lack of available ps5’s.
And 2 have you heard about Sony working on implementing a 1440p ps5 patch? Many people in the show community have monitors and the ps5 coming out with no 1440p was a bit of a let down, plus hdmi 2.1 tv and monitors are not cheap currently so it would be nice if there can be a middle ground right now until prices come down.
I would completely understand if you can’t answer the first question as it can be a major announcement for the future game and also not wanting to promise something that is still in development, but would be nice if you can give any sort of insight on the future of 1440p
I would also like to know if ‘22 will support 120fps. Recently purchased a Sony X900H and it’s input lag is much lower for 4K 120 than the 4k 60 it currently runs.

@ImDFC_PSN what do u mean PS5 will never support 120/4K??? First of all COD Black Ops supports 120 FPS, i use it on my LG OLED 55B7A (Tv has to support 120Hz) MLB the show 21 next Gen is in 4K also, it’s just 60 FPS just to clarify that.

I mean that you'll never play a game at 4k AND 120fps this gen, unless they significantly boost the console power in future revisions. The hardware simply isn't there, and in the case of the PS5 the 4k is gimmicked out with checkerboarding

Already a dozen or so PS5 games with 4K 120hz. I would be very disappointed if The Show doesn’t join that club next year.

Thinking of buying newer one but don't have energy to mess with my set up .

I finally went for it and bought the 55" C1. If anyone is on the fence about this (and has the space and money, and is single lol), holy smokes this TV is a dream. Moving from a 28" gaming monitor to this is absolutely incredible and well worth the money.

No wonder most of you play on All-Star with default pitch speeds instead of Legend with maxed speeds, you're playing on TVs. Use your TVs to watch things like sports and movies, monitors for gaming you casuals.
