"Field of Dreams?" That's a stadium of dreams, or something. It's just a stadium with a cornfield. The house is in the wrong place, should be bleachers, not grandstand, there should be no outfield fence, and what's up with all the greenhouses? On a farm?

They built a new field next to the movie set field. You can barely see it from the front porch of the house. They are not playing on the original field. I was there in June, it's very different there.

I almost read this wrong lol. I thought you said the event in the game should be fun which of course it isn't because that stadium plays like dodo. I agree about the irl fod event being a good time tho.

Obviously SDS is just copying the real life one so it's not their fault, but I do agree with the OP that the stadium is kind of a letdown. I wish MLB had come up with a design that's truer to the stadium in the movie. At the very least they could have positioned it so that there was an actual cornfield beyond the fence instead of just a few plants.

the field they are playing on is built on another part of the property. SDS has it right if you see the aeriel in the game somewhere. The original field is still in place as well on the property.
I am from Iowa, been there a few times. It is amazing.

The default cornfield one is pretty close to the movie, They probably don’t have the license to make it exact.

Oh ok then, the field on good morning America looked like the original. Bleachers, no fence, no scoreboard, house behind 1st base. So it's "Field of Dreams," (game) just not "Field of Dreams," (movie) or "Field of Dreams" (MLB).
