And how will they be different from all the cry baby complaint threads we saw about contact hitting before change?
I almost see the complainers after the patch having a more valid excuse. They were allowed to develop their game using contact hitting and more lenient pinpoint pitching. Now they are getting their playstyle nerfed.
No difference to me either way as I use neither contact swings or pinpoint pitching.
It doesn’t sound like contact swing will be unusable, you just won’t hit tanks from using it as often. People who implemented it into their strategy should still be able to use it effectively, just less extra base hits from it (how it should be)

All I know is that contact swing is a lot more effective today than pre-patch. People hitting tanks off pitches in the dirt with pci the size of the moon. Doesn’t look nerfed to me

If you are playing the event the PCI is already the size of the moon

Yes I’m aware of that but people are using it in events too making the pci the size of the strike zone pretty much. Just saying if it’s working on this it’s probably working in ranked also

Ain't no one trotting out a common pitcher in ranked and if they are you can bet I'd be the one who had to face them and still strikeout

Yes, it will be adjusted. But to those who say quick pitching isn't possible; there's your proof!
Been saying this from the get go. Quickpitching was why I used r2, but this year the griefing with R2 and PPP was out of control.

I hope so. Power meta gets boring. It would be nice to be able to use Boggs/Gwynn/Hernandez types and be competitive.
Side note: XP should have been addressed in the patch.
