well I guess we are not getting a Olson tomorrow for the POTM path. Guess they will make him into the all star card since A's only have him. Gonna suck too that a lot of these cards will be basically repeats from last years TA. We already had a couple with Thome and others this year. Was expecting new TA cards not repeats from last year.

LY TA3 was 97-98 with I think just Smoltz as the 99.
There were a couple other 99s in TA3 (Face of the Franchise legends). According to my google search, the following players were at 99
Thome, Kaline, Brett, Killebrew, Bagwell, Smoltz, Schmidt, Dawson, Yount, Gwynn and Marichal
I do think 96 or 97 - 99 is a likely range for the All-star cards,

nah. 2 early for a 99 DeGrom. SDS will probably release another former all star. This is why SDS screwed up by saying TA3 will be 2021 all stars. We may end up getting a 99 all star DeGrom only to get a 99 Finest later on???????/ That would make no sense.

This is why I think(praying) some teams get former Allstars and this isn’t Finest 1.0

honestly the card art is nice but they definitely could have made it way better, feels like a missed opportunity, card art has been good this year tho so can’t complain too much

I guess they could change the Mets Finest to Alonso or Lindor or something. Although I agree that getting a TA3 DeGrom is meh. With IE he's already basically a 99 so its pretty much the same card as his LS.
I know Alonso is only in the HRD and not an actual all star but I wonder if they will use his HRD card as the Mets instead?

Royals are anticlimactic. Guess we are getting Perez. Still only leaves Perez, Brett and maybe Damon for a team build.
You can probably eliminate some people that already or will have high cards. For instance, Schwarber will most likely get POTM or a high topps now. That leaves the Nats at Turner or Soto. Burnes already has a high card which leaves Hader and Woodruff. Thinking Hader with the lack of relievers. Wheeler just got a 94 so Phillies should be Realmuto. Hernandez or Bichette for Blue Jays. Yankees are a toss up. Could be any of them. Going Judge here though. I think Bryant gets the Cubs.

Maybe this is SDS's way of telling us there will be no Finest cards later on? Unless they totally water these all star cards down, these are basically finest cards (juiced LS). I'm honestly kinda worried these are just going to be binder fillers though. I guess we will find out soon..

There will be finest cards, just not Degrom. It's not like Degrom could possibly be better in the 2nd half anyhow. Just think of this as Degrom's finest early. Degroms first half already puts him in 99-2000 Pedro and 68 Gibson territory as it is

I truly hope they give us some bangers and do this TA3 right. Part of me is seriously wondering if they will even give us deGrom. I could almost guarantee it will be Pete Alonso. That's how they do things..
