Online Play Is Just No Fun Right Now

Which is a shame. I torture myself to get the BR and event rewards, but I think I've had enough. There's only so many glitchers I can deal with. And the perfectly timed very late swing for bloopers every AB that so many people have mastered the art of while I'm power swinging with 100+ power and getting good good cans of corn on balls hit directly in the middle of the PCI. If this update doesn't change anything and the bosses are blah, I might be hanging it up early this year. I completed the live collection for Chipper (which was the least exciting live collection reward ever) and I have no interest in 99 Rivera even though I need only 6 42 series cards for him. 99 Jackie is a nice card, but it does nothing for me any more.
I know they say they don't force you to play online, but they do if you want the event rewards. I'm a long time player and pretty good at the game, but lately I'm not having any fun online. Single player is ok, but I'm not a moments fan even though I do all of them. I like the conquest maps and run out theme teams to make things interesting. But, after grinding this game for several years, I might finally have had enough of it. It's always been my favorite game to play, but something needs to happen to keep my interest at this point.

If a player has no honor, and relies on cheating to get the W that is who I get matched up against 90% of the time. R2 spam after R2 spam. Bunt dance after bunt dance. And then there is the freeze offs. Regardless if it is on purpose or not. It kills your enthusiasm to play online. And I love the competitive aspect of RS. So I will continue to get passed around like a joint.

Man do not be so invested in a video game. If this game upsets you like this then you need to sit down and take a deep look inside. There must be a lot of areas of your life you are not happy with to put so much stake in a video game experience. Jesus is the way the truth and the life my brother.

Its hit or miss for me. I had ok luck in the events but BR tends to always be annoying for me.

Well this patch doesn’t fix any game play issues just so you know.

He didn't say it is impacting his life or anything lol he just said the game isn't worth it and gave his reason

I just lost my game that would put me in championship series. I pitched Crochet and he pitched a certain right handed pitcher with a 100 mph sinker. He beat me 2-1, which is fine. He was good. But the manner in which I lost was just demoralizing. The winning run got on by a broken bat infield hit. And he came around to score on a weak ground ball that my third baseman couldn’t get to. I mean, that truly is baseball, but playing on HoF is so hard and for both of us to battle the whole game, and for it to come down to those types of hits that late just makes it tough.

Like Deadpool, Jacksonville only brings me bad flashbacks. We don't discuss it.
