WS Banners vs 12-0 Banners
-
Do you get the WS banner by just doing the 40 wins? If so, then WS banners don't impress like they used to. 12-0 is very difficult but the hardest to play in my experience are the players with the diamond rings.
-
top 50 rings, multiple 12-0 banner guys are at another level.
i'm not sure i can go 12-0 as my pci skills aren't that impressive, im just quick and read the ball well and pitch effectively and honestly i think all-star can be kind of difficult as every pitch is so arcadey and slow and i've gotten shut down by randoms in BR and the odd RS game.
12-0 is a whole new level of consistency that I just haven't tapped into....YET.

No you don’t. At 40 wins you just get the rewards. No icon or nameplate unless you climb to WS.
-
I have the WS and took it away because I do not represent a WS level player lol, I’m trash
-
To me it’s always been 12-0 guys are better. More than likely they will hit well. WS guys is a [censored] shoot
-
Definitely 12-0. WS doesn’t necessarily mean skill, it could just mean you grinded your [censored] off.
If you can make CS, you can make WS (skill wise). The hardest part about making WS is playing enough games to get there.
-
Neither mean anything in my opinion.
Going 12-0 in BR is about 15% skill, 40% luck, and 45% volume.
Don’t be like the noobs and let banners intimidate you.
-
Definitely more difficult to go 12-0 IMO. BR is a sh!t show.

I like this, I just got my first WS banner in the last two years, I'll rock it for a few weeks, and take it off, because i'm trash as well! hahaha

I made it with so much ease last season. From 450 to 902 with a 20-3 record… Now struggling and 25-20 in the season. Cabrera almost have me quitting until people stop using him

I was reversed, almost made it last year, then happen to squeeze in this year. I was at 885, thinking one more win, got a guy to rage quit, but only got 13 points, and then lost a few games.. but luckily got back up, you'll get it bro! keep at it!

Best is playing a TTV peep and watching their live stream while you pummel them

From my experience this year, the WS banner guys are always good players, but beatable on a good day. The 12-0 banner guys are another story. They are completely cracked out and I can’t imagine beating them in a 9-inning game. I got spanked so badly by one of them recently that I got inspired to get better.
With that being said, if anyone wants to play friendlies on legend, please let me know…
yeah bud the BR ones scare me the most too - absolute wizards they are
WS banners mean nothing other than either you grind nonstop or you are actually good - aka not as scary to face

I’ve got those….now I just need to put TTV in my name and everyone will tremble with fear.
Tremble in fear because they will think they are about to see warping 110 mph sinkers.
So I’ve noticed a few things during this ranked season in regards to the warped sinkers…..also the timing window on off speed is jacked up during these games as well…..not my point though.
I made it to WS pretty quick and have played most of my games on legend although HOF gets the warped pitches too with bigger pci and timing windows.
First thing is every time I play a game like this the guy I’m playing has insanely low ERA and WHIP on all of their pitchers…..most of the time low batting averages too. That suggest to me something with their connection….although occasionally I’ll play a guy with like 1200 rank points that where his pitches are warped and he mashes everything at the plate.
The second and possibly more important thing is that I’ve been playing on the LG CX which is basically a gaming OLED. Supposedly instant response time, low as a monitor input lag and all the gaming features…..
I picked up a 1080P monitor with the basic and most responsive TN panel. I started a few games on the OLED and after a few innings went over to the monitor and I was very early on the same warped pitches I couldn’t touch on the OLED. Not exactly sure what conclusion to draw since supposedly the OLED has the same gaming specs as a monitor. Must have something to do with the 4K, HDR, VRR…one of those things although I have tried going with the basic 1080P with all the bells and whistles turned off on the OLED and it still didn’t work right. I have also purchased and returned a gaming monitor that was like 400 dollars that had an IPS panel and all the gaming features. I was still getting the warped pitches on that. Supposedly IPS monitors have a better picture than TN panels but sacrifice a tiny bit of performance. Not sure what you play on, but for whatever reason it’s looking to me like having the most basic gaming monitor with a crappy picture TN panel might be what is the difference. I just got it recently so I’ll have to test it out some more. It was only 160 dollars at Best Buy.

LG 27GL83A-B 27 Inch Ultragear QHD IPS 1ms NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible Gaming Monitor
I could try my old asus monitor again when I get back up to HOF and Legend. Might be a bit since I dropped to 500 in the hopes of actually physically seeing some pitches.

That 12-0 guy spanked you so bad he made you find a new Religion huh ? Lol 12-0 is way harder than making WS Most average players can make WS if they play enough games .

That is actually the monitor I returned to Best Buy I believe. It’s like a new model in 2021 that comes in 27 and 32 inches? Maybe company has something to do with it? I had the LG OLED and the Ultragear. This monitor that has made the difference is a crappy Lenovo lol. I was just guessing it was the TN panel since that is the reason I got it.

I have a 12-0 banner and I don't use it since I am trash in RS. I can't concentrate for 9 inning games let alone play 4-5 full games a day. Getting to WS is a lot harder for me.
