Great game? Lol. Why did Jesus Lazerado break his hand playing this game? MLB player thinks it's a mockery, cause it is.
User input doesn't control the outcome of the game, Mathematical equations are needed to justify contact results.
That's not what happens in real life either, MLB players are paid and are in the big leagues to GET HITS when they time the ball correctly and put their barrel to the ball.
If you play the computer and enjoy collecting virtual cards, this game is for you. PVP is broken

Completely valid argument, but unfortunately I can't risk getting injured and preventing myself from working. I am a self-employed carpenter, so I get my competitive fix virtually.
It's not like they don't have the ability. All they have to do is adjust the sliders on foul balls with the solid human contact.
98% of foul balls in PVP are terrible swings that dont get punished.
All they have to do is adjust these and the game will feel like user input controls the outcome.

I played online rated for years and was always in the top 100 but I found to have the same problems.
I guess I just don't know enough people to play in a custom League where the sliders are adjusted correctly. How do I find them?

MLB The Show discord and these forums. Here are some we use in a league and trust me we still see our fair share of gameplay issues;
Slider Adjustment: -1 Human Contact, -2 Human Foul Frequency, +1 Reliever Stamina, +1 Pitcher Control, +1 Pitcher Consisitency, -1 off-speed pitch speed, 0 wind

I got so mad today I didn't pull a Jesus Luzarado and broke the disc instead
I uninstalled too. It's raining and all I wanted to do was enjoy my day off playing but that probably won't happen ever again LOLIf you send me an invite to a guaranteed correctly slider adjusted custom league with great competition, I'm in.

Why do you -1 to human solid hits? Imo and what I found most realistic to user input is +1 solid hits and -3 to foul balls

Looking for a competitive league where sliders are adjusted to replicate user input controlling the outcome. Less foul balls and more solid hits
