It's entirely random. Between 18 and 19, I went over 10 months without packing a Diamond.

So far in 20 (with 81 packs opened so far), I've gotten Realmuto, Cole, and Bagwell.

    It's just dumb luck.

Why does everything including random good or bad luck have to be twisted into some conspiracy theory?

I normal drop a few hundred in packs over a season and they seem to be fine for me. I snagged bagwell, lindor and sale in the 100 packs I bought.... betts, freeman and another lindor in random fee packs

And why are you buying packs if you have mantle? Nothing in there that you need

@allmustfall16 I also bought my team but have pulled Cole, Chapman, Judge, Hader, Yelich, Freeman, Harper twice and a few other lower ones I forget. And I have bought exactly five 50 bundles and all headliners (no prospects). I’ve pulled at least 4 diamonds from various packs earned in the game or BR.

    It’s all random

They give away lots of stubs in this game, you can flip cards to, you do not really need to spend more money on the game. I pulled, Bregman from the 10 pack I got from CQ. I pulled Yates from set 1 HL and Buehler from set 2 HL, no diamonds from set 3. Not sure if I will buy the next set. I do not care to pull the HL card. I am looking to pull Trout, Bellinger or one of the other Diamonds that are selling high. I probably will not open any 50 pack bundles. Maybe do the 20 pack bundle. really no need to by the bundles for LS player. Just by the players with stub earned or cards flipped.

You would think it would be the other way around so they keep getting people to spend money if it was true

I just want to see a diamond show up. Haha. Starting to think it’s not possible for my account.

I’m sort of a whale or whatever they call it. I usually invest in a good team right off the bat. Bought Mays last year and Mantle this year.

With that being said, I’m not the only one running around with Mantle.

I’m a firm believer that if your account is known to spend money, that the game has something built in to nerf your odds with packs. I’ve opened more packs this year than I count and have got nothing. Same as last year.

SDS, just because I spend some money on your game, doesn’t mean you can’t throw a dog a bone. For once I’d like to see that diamond show up in a pack.

Maybe it’s just coincidence, but 3 years back when I was no money spent, I pulled Trout and everything else. Since I have bought the collections, I get nothing.

I’ve opened all the headliners, more packs than I can keep track of, and some of those prospect packs with no results.

If you’re like me, take my advice and don’t learn the hard way, stay away from packs that you buy.

    It’s not worth it.

Only one way to test this theory from here forward. Spoiler: It won't cost you anything.

Mantle was probably around $1,200. Maybe more. I’ve donated enough to the cause to deserve a little luck my way.

I have bought one 20 pack this year so far. Had a Scherzer and a Realmuto in those. So pretty much doubled my stubs. I am not pressing my luck further. Not until I can get all the LS collections done. But this year seems it may take a while. last year had Mays with no packs bought and no money spent by July. This year not only is the game economy not as good for us, but I dont have the desire to play this thing near as much.

I usually use my credit card reward points to buy stubs. I think im done unless a good headliner comes out. No point in ripping like in the past.

I haven't bought any stubs, but I have bought two 20 bundles and set 1 and 2 headliners (10 total) and gotten nothing.
Out of earning free packs through conquest, events and such, I've pulled 5 diamonds.

I regret buying those packs because I'd be finished with the NL with those stubs, just need Bellinger and Kershaw
