I dont get why people say the shutdowns will shutdown SDS. most of their work involves using a computer on a specialized server which im 99% sure can be remotely accessed from anywhere.
This is Sony we are taking about if they dont have this kind of technology then I would be concerned.

This is Sony we are taking about if they dont have this kind of technology then I would be concerned.
That and video conferencing to talk about changes they want to make, communication tools like Slack or Confluence would be used exactly for this!

The one thing that stood out for me about this was how comparatively easy the 9 inning game on All Star was.
The showdown challenges on veteran seemed WAY more difficult.

Without real baseball going on, SDS is going to have to do a better job coming up with more content to keep us busy. More moments, missions, this day in history e.t.c.
The latest player program Kerry Wood took less than 2hrs... 6 missions or so and then a 9 inning game vs the Cubs.
Pick up the pace SDS. We're going to need more substance without real life baseball.
So, it's too easy you complain about not enough content. If it'd taken you 2 days to get him you'd complain the "Moments are too Difficult". I bet if I gave you a million dollars you'd complain about getting $20 bills instead of $100. Relax Veruca, it's not all about you.

Except that we do. Stephen Haas and Luis Martinez (the non-Ramone guys on almost every stream) are heads of the Live Content team.

I don't think the virus has to do with anything. They likely had all of this year's content planned months ago. The content team probably knows who each of the inning bosses will be this year, which player programs are going to be released when, etc, and all the moments are already programmed into a dev kit. They don't just randomly start working this on a thursday to have it ready for release on Friday.
ALL OF THIS ... except the part about the virus. With no games being played for the foreseeable future, they're probably re-evaluating all their plans to see how that would affect everything they've got in the hopper.
For example, if they were gonna do Home Run Derby cards again this year ... how you gonna do that if there's no Home Run Derby?

OK, great. So what does that mean, their heads of the Live Content team?
What's their responsibilities within the team? Is there any cross collaboration with their team and other departments? Do they have their hands on any responsibilities of online gameplay as well? Do they actually do any of the programming or developing of the game? Or are they more of an executive position for purposes of being the faces of live streaming and have people underneath them that do that?

Pretty sure they're in charge of what missions, moments, etc. get released and what rewards you get for them. They decide when cards get released and I think they decide the attributes too (not 100% on that one). But I'm 99% sure they have nothing at all to do with gameplay development. To put it simply, they create the moments (e.g. strike out 3 batters in an inning), while other people develop the gameplay to determine strikeout frequency and all that stuff
