No. The results from contact are what should be standard regardless of pci size. More hits happen on good swings as opposed to normal when good swings seem way more likely to be outs. Im talking results on “good/good” swings and not pci size

Ya that would be even better than what they working with right now , like how is contact swing almost always hits but also can be a homerun baseball contact swings are literally that trying to put the bay on the ball to make contact not hit homeruns and also get base hits every [censored] swing

Yeah. It should be valuable for Kenny lofton type players to hit line drive singles but I def agree that power shouldn’t be there.

Exactly I don’t lofton Gwynn type players doing it but when you have Ortiz type players doing the same thing where is the line drawn next thing you know power swing with lofton will all be homeruns

I never used contact until recently. Basically wanted to see what everyone was talking about. Wow, was I surprised how effective it was. Tried it first in conquest mode and hit 6 homeruns. It has definitely helped me put more balls in play, but it seems like 95% pop-ups, 4% groundouts or 1% homeruns. Really not much in-between. Can't really decide what's worse to be honest. This games hitting is so frustrating, far to inconsistent even against the computer.

Bro you shouldn’t be hitting homeruns with contact swings simple as that, it should be power and possibly normal swings contact is simply that, anyone thst played baseball knows a contact swing are like 0-2 count or hit and runs where you literally just trying to make contact with the ball

This [censored] will make everybody stop playing BR… 25/62 hitter againat 105 H/9 hits a perfect homerun and the pci looks the same as my Santana with 77 Contact because the douche is exploiting your broken mechanic… just nerf it.

I use contact with low power high contact batters . Never tried it with power hitters. I rarely get homeruns with it though.
I rarely use the power swing. I never seem to be able to do much with it. I do use analog swing so I think it makes the timing harder with the power swing.
Is the power swing worth using?
