The 42 pack in the POTM program made me so mad

Literally dropped around 450k to get all the preorder 42 cards I didn’t have to complete Jackie. Most of them going for 70k. All for the program pack to drop them to 30k a day after I finish the Jackie collection. Some terrible luck

Waiting to pick up any I need left when they eventually hit 10K.

I think they will be in a conquest map prior to the shark map personally. Although conquest maps are pretty dry with rewards so far so who knows

I’ve been in your situation before.. it sucks! Now you just have to beware of when new content drops, roster updates happen, and etc. Especially this year! You never know what SDS is gonna do. One thing this year that got me and a lot of others I assume, is the way they’re doin team affinity.

What the hell did you think was going to happen? That they weren't going to release any more? In time they will be quick sell or close to it. Patience will save you a good chunk of stubs, especially if you don't work the market. It's like the new kitchen sink packs coming out. Doubt I touch any of the cards, but wait until they're handed out like candy and buy them cheap (of course if a card can improve my team, I might have to move on it).

I overspent too a few weeks ago, but it is what it is. I knew this could happen. I just wasn't patient enough to wait until they dropped a very accessible pack that would tank the market like it has now, so I'm cool with it.

Yeah, I buy a couple of early promo packs at the start to get a jump start on my team before we’re saturated with content; got Adley and Billy Hamilton from space packs (kept one, sold Billy); going to miss 6 42 after the May pack and I’m not buying them until LS is completed. May have them from packs by then too. Same with headliners, fool’s gold. Bought Pedro straight up and saved 100s of K in stubs avoiding the packs.

Probably right. Last year, they started sprinkling in a Player's League diamond choice pack in the conquest maps starting in the 4th.

I agree that they will drop even more soon, but I bit the bullet and bought the last 6 I needed this morning.

Yeah, if you're not going to play the market, you gotta be patient. They hand out enough stubs for you to be able to put your team together, but you can't be spending their top end price. Most cards will drop to a decent level, even event cards if they do what they did last year and re-release them.

It's bound to happen but there is a price on time. It cost me a lot less than 450k but I still winced when I spent 64k on Rivera to finish it. After using Jackie for a couple of weeks now and nearing p4, it's been a blast

You should probably not ever buy a house or invest if price changes in 42 cards make you upset.

Came out during shark week a few years ago ,had a flashback jeff samardizja card as reward( his nickname) shaped like a shark, but the important part was itvhad like 30-40 packs as hidden rewards, lot of good packs too- prior headliners specialty packs(like kitchen sink). you could start from scratch and have half your team diamond by the end of that map.

Last week I was this close to dropping 70k on the final 42 series card I needed for jackie, but I changed my mind and bought up all the topps now cards instead. Not only did I end up finishing the 42 collection for free, but I made a killing selling topps now duplicates as I was working on the monthly program. Sometimes a little patience really pays off with this game lol.

Happened to me too….sometimes old collection cards dry up and get rare in team building modes too…..either way just move on. Too hard to guess what content will come. Not worth the effort.
