is Jackie worth it?

the cards a re fairly low and I could buy all them but not have much left over, i do have tons of investments left over still but i just want some thoughts. Already have chipper so 2nd base is alfonso which i would move to left and take finley out. I just want to know is jackie worth about 300k stubs?

Got him recently but haven't had a chance to use him. On paper he's pretty much endgame. I'm about to start on the NL West TA2 so I'll get some decent reps with him.

He is for sure worth it if you play in World Series on Legend difficulty. If not you would probably be better off saving the stubs.

You must not have noticed they gave them out in the monthly reward thing. They’re all down to like 35k. Or they were.

Picked him up today as well. He was great for me in multiple BR runs so excited to add him to the squad. Semien might not make my team but that program helped me get Jackie and Mo so good by me.

I haven't wanted to spend the stubs on Series 42 cards, but have been monitoring them and holding stubs if they dropped to the right price. I checked shortly after POTM dropped and there wasn't much of a change...then I saw your post. Now I have all but one I will get when I finish POTM tonight or tomorrow. For me this was more about having Series 42 complete to make other collections easier in the future. If there is a other collection that 99 Jackie is a ticket, then it is well worth it for me...with the added benefit of havibg 99 Jackie.

Yea I saw that. I went ahead and got them all at 28-29,500. I’m sure they might drop more buts it only stubs. Wish I could unlock the prospects I did for Mo now hahaha

Haha...I had been buying prospects all week and locked everything for MO this afternoon. I am sure the next collection is going to need those prospects anyway.

Literally just completed the last TA1 to get Heyward needed 3 points and thought nope not spending 500k to get JR or any card at this point. Saw this post and JR is slotting into 2B to debut when I lose my next game if the servers ever come back.

Lost about 250k stubs when the 42 series prices crashed today... But then pulled Acuna from a reward pack. So I guess that worked out.

No problem. I had 5 left and put in buy orders overnight and got each one for between 26-27k a player. Gonna I guess put Semien at 3rd while I try Jackie out. Can focus solely on live series now
