Bro throwing to home instead of first is user error. I don’t understand how that would be the cards fault.
Up until I put him in, hadn’t done it a single time the last two years of play. Put him in he does it twice in less than an hour of play. And I don’t button mash. Took him out hasn’t happened a single time since. Both times he did it the game made a comment about being disoriented, so I did it myself to see and it made a comment about how the runner was safe. It was very odd to say the least

I can't hit with Banks either. Fielding has been ok but I can't stand the fact he is so slow. I've gone back to Tatis. I very also considered moving Chipper to SS and putting Freeman at third. I'm sad because I was so excited to get Banks as one of the collection rewards.
I moved Chipper to SS a while ago, I was iffy about it at first but he’s fine there.

Ok buddy you either can’t read or just enjoy arguing.
When I input x to throw home the arrow points that way. When I input circle for first it points that way. So when my input is pointed to first Ive clearly pressed circle and the player still throws home, and he’s the only player who’s done it to me in two plus years of play? Yeah nothing weird about it at all. It’s totally not weird that the game even makes comments about the player being disoriented but when I purposefully throw to the wrong base it makes a comment about how I made a bad play.
There’s time to correct your input while the ball is fielded as well, so regardless of what you think when I’ve pressed circle and my input is pointing at first but the guy throws home, it’s something with the game. Especially when it hasn’t happened to me in two years happens two times in four games and hasn’t happened again since I benched him after the second time it happened.
So yeah you’re right man I totally picked up a bad habit randomly for two plays and just magically dropped it the next day. Sounds logical.

Both times it happened the catcher was halfway down the first base line too like he was going to cover first on a routine grounder. Which makes absolutely no sense. So It was definitely something to do with the game.

Chipper has been ok for me at SS also. Its weird because I hit great with him from the right side but left side I either roll over, warning track out or a base hit. I keep going back to Tatis because of that power and speed combo. Might have to reevaluate when TA2 drops today.

I used to stink with chipper until I started timing his swing with his little toe tap. It can be tricky at first but if you can look at his toe tap in your periphery while watching the ball you’ll have insane success.

I think he was saying it's awesome you are still playing video games when you're so "old" and he hopes he is too at that age.
BTW, I'm 68 and playing MLB, FIFA, WOW, CYBERPUNK and many, many more.
I love how all the young'uns can't believe anyone over the age of 50 still has enough brains left to play video games. lol -
Haven’t been particularly impressed with plesac - 3 pitch mix and all within like 5 mph speed differential.

I would rank the LH in order as Plesac, Wagner, Chapman, Hader.
I've found that control is the most important attribute for a pitcher along with obviously H/9 and K/9.
Without the great control pitches very often don't go where you're aiming and often drift over the middle of the plate. As well as often being behind in the count. It's really nice and advantageous to be able to often hit the edges (or slightly outside) of the strike zone.
Sure they can all blow away 1/2+ of the hitters on most teams, or everyone on lower difficulties but mistakes are far more likely to get punished at all-star and above.I have Plesac (tier 2), Wagner and Chapman (both tier 3) and had Hader tier 2 so I've pitched them a lot and would rank them in that order.
That is all mainly playing on all-star difficulty vs. cpu. Sometimes HOF.Plesac has fantastic control on 2 pitches, great on the 3rd. Wagner great on one, really good on another. Chapman bad on 3, horrible on the 4th.
Hader has ok control on 2 pitches but a really bad HR/9 rating and seems to get punished for mistakes more then the rest. He seems like more of a vs. LH specialist which of course is difficult to set up with todays rules.
I used Hand for a long time and did well with him. He has great control on 2 of his pitches and I think that's the reasonOf course, aside from parallel boosts, both Chapman and Hader have the possibility of temporary attribute boosts or even an OVR improvement and Plesac and Wagner don't.
Anyway, that's been my experience.

Chapman is definitely the best left right now. Plesac will be the first headliner to hit quicksell value.
Dude is steady going up, I know I know stub sale. When fully paralleled he is like a 97-98 lefty reliever. Highest in game
