Remember when the Rangers ballpark was a launching pad?
I say they raze it and start over...

At one point do the no hitters lose the shine they historically have had? It's getting ridiculous. And as a longtime Texas Rangers fan, come on!!!!
I don't think they ever will. It's still an insane accomplishment considering there are only about 310 in MLB history dating all the way back to 1876.
I totally think they lose their shine, as you put it. They are becoming run of the mill and I think it is at least in part due to the rampant use of “foreign substances” by pitchers to increase spin rate.

There may be 50 this year. These guys cannot hit to save their life. look at the team batting avg's for this year. There is even a team hitting under .200.

We've got like 7-8 guys on pace for 300+ strikeouts because no one can hit... The three true outcome approach really makes baseball nearly unwatchable now

And Stanton and Judge are always injured. Or they would be there.

Hitters in today's games is HR or Strike out maybe now they will go learn how to swing for hits and not the fences every at bat

I didn’t even flip over to watch the finish. I have no-hitter fatigue. Still a good accomplishment but it’s not as special as it was a month ago to me.
Kind of like if we saw pitchers striking out 20 hitters a game every week suddenly.

I it is still special, so is 20k's in a game.It is showing that hitters are not as good.

I think it was back in 2011 that 3 perfect games were pitched.

I went to the Rangers and Yankee game yesterday the 20th.
Rangers lost 2 - 0 but I saw a great 3-6-5 double play!Runners on first and second.
Ball hit to first, throw to 2cd for an out, SS was about to throw back to first but pitcher was late to cover. Ended up turning and throwing to 3rd and caught the guy sleeping.
Best play of game. -
