I can never get any diamond players in diamond dynasty. Its not fair. I keep seeing videos of players getting 10 diamonds when I get None! Zip! Zilch! Nada! Its not fair, they need to change the odds for diamond players to be more common and frequent.
Those videos are a joke, they aren’t showing you the thousands of packs they’ve opened with nothing in them. Yes, some people are more lucky than others, but no one ever really tells you how many packs they’ve opened to get the diamond.

This is the correct answer.

Assuming you're referring to packs, yes it's all a numbers game. It's no better than gambling. There are tons of ways to get diamonds just by playing (topps moments, evolutions, etc).
Yes I am referring to packs. The only diamond players I have earned through pack opening are freddie freeman, manny machado, max sherzer, and christian yelich. I had to buy mike trout and jacob degrom due to them being the highest pricest cards. I just wish that I could get 2 diamond players every pack.
-
You've pulled 4 diamonds and you're complaining that you can't pull any diamonds? Sounds like you have.
I had [censored] luck but today pulled tatis and 90 Donaldson. Other than that, I didn't pull a single diamond.

Seems legit. Definitely not a lot to ask for hahah. Wow

Hoping this is a joke. But don't watch videos of people opening packs and compare that to you opening packs. People don't make videos of the hundreds of packs they open with no diamonds. Those don't get the views.

better off not buying packs at all and just buy the cards you want yourself.

You've pulled more diamonds then myself and i'm 2 diamond players away from completing the AL Live Series. Point beign you don't need to pull diamonds to get them. This is why i rather work the market then buy packs.
Just not worth it in my opinion.

Those videos you see are one of two things.
-
Sponsored by SDS. Which means SDS is given content creators these high diamonds to open in packs on "live streams" to fool and trick people into buying stubs.
-
They are opening hundreds of packs and only showing you the good ones.
I made this mistake this year. I never buy stubs or packs. But I was bored and couldn't sleep so thought what the hell. I bought 100 packs. I pulled one diamond. A Lindor. A card I can now get on marketplace for like 20K stubs or less. Total waste of money. I'll never buy packs again.Best way to get diamonds is buying them from marketplace or earning them. I have gotten a Mookie and a Harper card from free packs. Plus I earned a bunch of a other diamonds by playing the different modes.
I really hope in the near future the courts decide these stupid card packs are a form of gambling and make them illegal. Then maybe these greedy companies like SDS and EA will have to go back to producing real sports games and not this [censored] these games have become

After five years of not pulling Mike Trout, I pull two so far this year. It's just luck of the draw; how many packs you open.

I don't think it's fair to put SDS and EA into one basket in this. Yes, pack odds are trash, but in The Show you really don't need to buy hundrets of packs to have really great team.
And you get lot of packs and stubs just by grinding the game. I'm 100k from Trout and I'm not working market at all -
people crying about not getting Diamonds, meanwhile I opened 70 packs and got a total of 2 Golds. And they were both the same player.
-
You're not doing it right.
Buy and open packs individually. There's an algorithm where packs 387-392 give two each.
Give it a shot and get back to us. Remember, one pack at a time buying and opening. Just like the menu asks you...

I think most would agree that purchasing packs has very low ROI. You can build an incredible team through offline play. Do this by:
- Completing Conquest Maps (I have complete each one except for Nation of Baseball)
- There are several packs in each map
- Each map contains 1-3 Ball'n is a Habit packs
- Conquest Games will Net XP and Get you Parallel Progress (it's awesome for pitchers)
- The regional maps will also give affinity points
- Complete Each Moment
- Moments are not difficult, tedious...sure, but relatively easy. I would even suggest using directional hitting.
- Topps moments will net you a Gold Player and a Diamond Player
- Player Evolution will net your Diamond players and for some 35k+ XP for collecting them.
- Complete the April rewards
- Simple: by completing the April Rewards, you will have added
Diamond SP
Diamond RP/CP
Diamond 1B
Diamond 3B
Diamond CF
Diamond LF
- Simple: by completing the April Rewards, you will have added
- Reading Missions
- Read what needs to be done, and do it.
- Everything Connects:
- Completing the Topps Now Moments will grant you Topps cards. Put those in your lineup while completing the April Rewards Challenges. You will Quickly Complete the April Rewards, which will grant you a great number of talented players.
- Be mindful of series 42 cards you want. I put a large number of NL East players in my lineup at the start because I knew I wanted that Dom Smith card.
- If you can play everyday (for a few minutes) complete the daily missions to unlock the evolution cards. Beat both T1&2 to get their diamond series cards.
- All of this (for the most part) will grant you XP which will unlock more cards and stubs.
- Save your stubs and know what you want to do.
- I first go to build my team, then I go to collections that will help build my team and then move to finishing collections.
- Ex: I bought Acuna because I really wanted him. I have no intention on finishing the Braves collection right away because the rewards is A. Jones and I already have a CF I like. Right now I am saving to complete the SD and LAD collections because both offer diamond level relief pitchers and right now I need to beef up my bullpen.
- So I first saved for a specific player(s) and I am now aiming to save for collections that address team needs.
Thank you for coming to armature-at-best TedTalk on DD.
- Completing Conquest Maps (I have complete each one except for Nation of Baseball)

Just don’t buy packs lol

No, you chose to buy them. You don't need any particular player to be competitive.
