Have you found a way to use your ballplayer at a position that isn't listed at the primary on your archetype in DD? Every time I put a player at a spot that is listed as his secondary they play like an out of position player in game making errors or if at catcher unable to even catch a pitch. In the squad screen it shows "secondary position" but that's not how they perform in game.
What position are you trying to do? 3rd to catcher?

Hmmm.... well, maybe it's a platform thing. I happen to be on a PS4. Couldn't find a 5 without paying "scalper" prices.
That said I just played a 3 game series with my slugger archetype. Game #1 of the series - no equipment bonus. Game #2 - equipment bonus. Game #3 I was rested and didn't get to play. But hey - I'm not making this up. I'm sure @SGMRock_XBL isn't either. I doubt anyone else who is posting about this is making it up either. Anyway, if it's working for you @GrizzBear55_PSN then good on you man. But it's not working consistently for me. And it is very consistently NOT working in the first game of each series.
Well then explain your process of setting up your player? I am genuinely trying to help you. I don't want to just sit here and keep saying it's working for me and not you. Let's figure this out!

My DD team vs CPU teams when i had no issues i quit.
Tried this. Went into DD with my Ballplayer at 1B primary position. All equipment attribute bonuses working. Went out of DD back to RTTS right away playing a game. Same broken issues. Again I’m on Xbox Series X version.

Ok try this. We will use my example mine is 3rd primary. When i went in game in my lineup i had 3rd baseman on bench. I swapped my CAP with player putting my cap on bench. Then took CAP and swapped with catcher it worked. So making sure it wasn't a bug i then went to my DD depth chart found catcher secondary and put him in catcher spot and again no dropped balls. Stats, quirks everything listed. This was also my 3rd base iron man loadout.

I just played 2 more RTTS 3 game series. In one of them I received no gear bonus in the first or second game, but did receive in the third game. In all three games, I just selected my loadout from my choices (I have 4) and played the game. In the second series, no gear bonus in games 1 & 2. Game 3 I didn't play (assume I was rested). There's not a dang thing that I did differently between game #3 of the first series and any of the other games.
As an FYI, all of my profiles/loadouts were deleted and recreated after the .3 patch. In fact, my "slugger" RTTS save was created brand new after the .3 patch. My "slugger" profile shows as position in the circle of the Archetype as 1B. And that's the position he plays at.

just trying to help you narrow down possibilitiesMade new profile. Deleted old profile. Put on archetype and perks. Put on only I piece of equipment, Legendary Call. Went in RTTS game. See +8 above contact and power if I check player card in pause menu in game. Go to bat, take a swing. My contact is 82 with archetype and perks., should be 90 with Legendary Call equipped. Nope still 82, still broken, still nothing from SDS on this. Still very annoyed.

If i'm not mistaken it depends on which you pick from choice pack. Bottom of each gives a description that will determine what attributes you gain and lose. But let me ask you this do you have a fielding perk you could swap with one of the others? I'm thinking your setup might be at the expense of fielding. If you do swap it then see if he drops it. I have an additional fielding with mine.

With my gear and boosts, in game all my fielding attributes are 90+. There's no reason for him to drop the ball. The only reason is the game not registering any of the secondary positions that are supposed to be on the card.
Plus primary position is only based on the main archetype card from what I've noticed. And there are no catcher ones above bronze that I've seen.

Well maybe what i'm saying points out bug? I use additional feilding with Diamond iron man and i'm not dropping it. I'm just asking you to try. Divide and conquer technique. I am literally just trying to help.
