I want them to actually put work into RTTS. Gives us a true experience that makes it feel like we are controlling a major league player. Give our player a personality trait that can change depending on our actions. Then interviews can matter. Give us an agent who actually does something useful. Like get us endorsement deals. You could have some diamond gear that can only be unlocked by signing with X company and doing challenges. Get rid of this dumb podcast thing. It's so uninteresting and pointless. Instead how about an actually story mode that can play out during our time in the minors. They are such a dull and boring grind. Nobody likes to play those games. This would at least add something to it. And also I'd love to see a Co Op mode for RTTS. For example my buddy and I go through pre draft work outs together, get drafted, he plays on his team and I play on mine. It would be fun to face each other when our teams play. Or compete for season awards against each other.

I'd also like to see them update franchise and make it worth playing again.

    All of the above.

And, maybe it is geeky of me, but have players that retire in franchise mode be able to become coaches and managers.

And rain outs to schedule double headers.

As a Phillies fan since birth I would LOVE to see Veterans Stadium back in the game so I can use it in online ranked games.

Actual improvements to Franchise Mode, especially with respect to roster construction.

    • Playable Single-A team
    • Non-Roster Invites to Spring Training
    • Placing Draftees on Rosters after signing them (so a June 2021 draftee should be able to play right away on a Single-A team)
    • Dynamic Interleague schedules year-over-year

They should also add some Online RTTS thing like where u match up with other people and play a 9v9 or a sandlot type mode

I keep seeing people suggest this. Personally I think it's a bad idea. In theory it sounds fun. But think about it. You're playing say RF. You get a ball hit to you what, a few times a game? Get a few bats in. Most of the time you're going to be sitting there watching.

yh i thought about this problem so i thought about it could be like wiffle ball 3v3 or a 5v5 or 7v7 with CPU pitchers and catchers

Yeah I'm sure they could do something to make it work. It would be fun for sure. But first and foremost, they need to fix RTTS. They wanna copy NBA2k. Start with it's career mode first.

    RTTS:

give back pitching options of the knuckle and 4th and 5th pitches

Immersion, have teammate, press and fan interactions mean something,... have your salary mean something (nhl did this a bit last year)

A central hub where your trophies, awards and accomplishments are easily sortable and viewable

Not so scripted. I’ve played around with like six different RTTS’s this year just trying to get my core stats up. No matter what team or how I perform I’m always called up to aaa just after the AA all star game and always called up to MLB second week of august,....

    Online franchise for sure.
Also custom season lengths for franchise. 30-40 games would be nice.

The show mentioned more batting stances in one of their promotion videos but when I got the game I noticed that they keep erasing some key players stances like Rickey Henderson batting stance (legend 11)from mlb the show 18 , Mo Vaughn batting stance (all-star 135) from Mlb the show 20. And the second Gary Sheffield batting stance from MLB the Show 20 as well. They also deleted the Sammy Sosa Bat flip from the Show 20. If they don't add these legends they need to at least give us the tools to create them. I was really bothered by this because I was looking forward to even more batting stances this year but instead, the just swapped alot out for new ones. They also deleted alot of pitcher windups and stretches. Why are they cheating us out of more?

Let me start off with RTTS. Some people would really like to go through High School baseball. I know this has never came from anybody yet but it would be very cool you know? It will make you fell like your living a life as a ball player. Another suggestion..most people would love actual colleges. A partnership with the NCAA will bring more college baseball fans to the game. Next suggestion..Endorsement deals. We would be able to partner with brands like, Nike, Spalding, Axe, Adidas, [censored]’s Sporting Goods, and many other deals. Next, We would love some type of neighborhood. Stores, Activity’s, Gym, Sandlots, and other type of things. You will get your money from Contracts, Deals, and Events. “San Diego Will Rise”

Fix the awful animated player profile pics that show up on the jumbotron and menu screens and just use the players actual photograph, regardless of the hat being different. It looks much cleaner then half animations and half real pictures. Send somebody to the Minors, they'll come back with an animated picture, it used to be you trade for somebody previously on the team in their career, the game would find the players profile from the database and display their old photo. They just removed all of this.

RTTS got significantly worse, they clearly abandoned this game mode. Their is so much cool stuff they can do too it's a shame. Madden 06 on the ps2 was a great example I wish sports games would follow. It starts out with randomized parents with back stories. It also included the ability to hire an agent, the more skilled agents will only represent established players. You could take a trip to the barber shop, the tattoo palor, and the practice field. Imagen they actually tried to implement these features in a sports game in 2021. Give me a reason to earn a contract in RTTS. Have my characters hair grow and need to be cut. Show physical gains after workout. Give my player the opportunity to act in a movie to earn popularity, also from madden 06 ps2. I want to have actual conversations with players on my team, another feature that was removed rather than developed. This RTTS is clearly unfinished, you can tell when training for drag bunting and other fielding traits.

I wonder how difficult it was to implement two way players. I mean in the show 20 you could make any player a two way player essentially. Just put Ohtani in the outfield from the starting pitching position. Thanks a lot for that fix SDS, smh.

MTO made some improvements but they don't update the rosters making the experience pretty dull at this point in the season. I find it really idiotic that I can't choose which prospects I want to develop. It isn't even based on team need its just random with players who are clearly not mlb ready. If they want to make players injured then make them injured and don't just put them in triple A, what kind of lazy garbage is that.

I really love this game and I'm tries of getting a heated up pile. I just want to see this game reach its full potential.

Absolutely every single line of coding that moves the effn pci GONE.
Asinine. Early and late in no way means on top of or underneath the dang ball🗣️
I'm sure only close to half the players have noticed the moving of the pci on good timing swings.....again.
