When do you think shelves will be stocked with PS5's? I am not going to preorder 21 unless I have a PS5 in my living room. Do you think that will happen by the early access date of 4/16?

I've been able to get 3 for me and my two brothers just because I got an early jump because of their notifications. Two from PS Direct and one from Amazon

I'm not following anybody or trying to beat someone or get lucky. I just want to go to my local retailer and buy one. If not by 4/16 then I will not pre-order. Thanks for the info.

By 4/16? Almost no chance they are on your local retailers shelves. I can see them being available by June or July though. I'm just going to purchase the digital deluxe version anyway and I'll get the PS5 when I can. It's not a super big deal IMO. Will gameplay be improved on the PS5? Probably. PS5 has stadium creator and PS4 doesn't? Oh well. I've played this game far too long to scratch my hair out trying to come up with a PS5. I'll survive a couple more months

I got a ps5 disc version for $800 yesterday. My time is valuable and the amount of time I had spent attempting to get one prior to that was obscene.
And even though I will have one now, I still think SDS should have waited a year to go next gen due the the known massive shortage of 5s.

What pissed me off is they hype their new system, change/screw up the PS fone app, then have this inexcusable shortage of systems.
This makes it a field day for scalpers.
No way I'm paying $800 for a game system.
Things were the same with the PS2. Shortages and price-gouging.
It's disgusting. -

It's disgusting.COVID didn't help either. At least that's their excuse for only having the PS5s sold online. If the consoles were in stores you could pretty much cut of the scalper problem completely

Well let's just hope and prey the ps5's come out on shelves and scalpers can't get rid of the one they got!

Yeah, if I play 21, it will be well into this summer, maybe even fall, I won't buy it on ps4 and won't overpay for ps5

Like a few others have mentioned, I won't be pre-ordering unless I can snag a next gen console. I'm trying to get my hands on an xbox because the ps5 is just impossible to get in Australia.

You may be waiting til mid summer or later brah. Most retailers only sell online, including all major big box stores
