Bregman

So, I just got Bregman. Final event record was 25-11. I would sell him for a mil since I don’t generally like the guy. But I have nothing else I’m itching to buy. All the other mil cards I don’t have aren’t selling enough that I’d get them in a reasonable time.

Same here. Decided to play an event game with him. My opponent walked the bases loaded in the bottom of the 3rd, Bregman came up... walk off grand slam. My only hit of the game. I think I’ll keep him.

@bhall09
hes a rarer card and at this point in the game what would you buy since everything is extinct. hes a lefty crusher and if you can figure out his seing hes actually really good i find

Bregman has a nice quick swing, I find I turn on inside heat against RHP very nicely with him. I'd keep, there's only 8 weeks left why not
-
I played a guy last night who had him at 3rd he made two really nice plays on animations I hadn't seen before. I would keep him
-
Just got him. Hate the person. But his card seems fun.

I also can’t stand Bregman and believe it or not— I couldn’t stand him before the controversy with cheating — he’s cocky and arrogant

There is absolutely no reason to sell his card. There's no worthwhile card you can actually obtain instead with the 900k stubs, and he is the very best right handed pinch hitter against a lefty in the sim. You'd be nuts to leave him off your best roster over a lesser bench player. For me, he replaced Jose Ramirez 99, a fine hitter, but all things being equal, Bregman is a far superior pinch hitting option with his 124 vision. Plus, once you sell Bregman, you could never get that card back if you wished you had it later.

Unless you haven’t completed Trout or collections that you really want. I can see that.

I sold him after our game, not because I can’t hit with him but because I want to give Lefty another chance and I wanted to keep at least 1.4 in the bank, just in case I feel the need to buy Salvy back and any other players I’ve sold...
By the way, GG. You destroyed a dot with Salvy!

I’m sure there are plenty like me who have greater needs than another righty third baseman.
“He’s the best right on left pinch hitter!”
No. He is not. I can throw a Tim Anderson who is 125 125 vs left, or maybe a Trevor Story or... there are plenty of options.
I sold his a$$ and picked up Lefty Grove. Lefty threw 120+ pitches 8.2 innings for me in his last start and gave up one solo shot, so that is infinitely more valuable to me than Bregman.
Use him if you like, but don’t get all Meta on me. Do what is best for your team!

I already had lefty and have all the one million stub guys I want and waiting on a few buy orders...so if kept him
That being said if I had to sell bregman to get lefty, I totally would. Lefty is the best lefty in the game in my opinion

Lefty is pretty disgusting.
-
I picked Ohtani first (I sold the card without even trying him) 1-0, only gave up 3 runs in 6 innings.

Yeah I saw an interview with him a few years back, and all I could think was "man what douch*"

Thanks Gg. I’m hoping we have some hope in the future for some better gameplay
