TBH I dashboarded someone last night because not only did they bunt dance, they also held R2. I got my vengeance when his grand slam by Larry Walker didn't count.

Karma: it was paid back to me the next game, when I lost a HR and 2 RBI towards the Awards Tony Rendon mission. Whoops. LOL

I say this now I know I am not a great play I'm okay at best I have a winning record but I should have a much better record than I do some of my losses were games I was on absolutely everything great PCI about 60% of my swings were within the good timing window if not perfect with all guys over 90 power and I got nothing my opponent hit 5 HRs all on very late okay contact its put me off of playing DD this year so I've been running RTTS. But I can deal with some bad luck as I know it happens IRL baseball is a fickle game but when I'm getting beat by guys playing way worse than I did, it gets to me. I don't mind the occasional bad luck no perfect perfect hits because I've had days irl where every ball I hit no matter how perfect was an out but when I'm getting hanging breaking balls on perfect pitches with high control guys that can't be a thing I can 100% see a hanger on poor release but if I get good release and perfect location that should never ever ever go anywhere but where I called for it or at least in the general area. If i call for a slider low and in to a righty with a left handed pitcher and I get perfect release it shouldn't be belt high down the middle with prestige Kershaw who has phenomenal control especially on his slider. Just needed to rant I'm gonna play RTTS till 21 comes out and I get the new console hopefully it runs a little better

I just had a guy dashboard me in the ninth after I got the third out of a tie game. This was one time where I was glad of it because his connection was SO bad.

Every other pitch I threw would stop for a few seconds before reaching the plate, and there were two plays that got recorded as outs which appeared to be a base hit and a foul pop up that was not caught to me.

It was the weirdest thing. Kluber led off the 6th with a knock to left (I know, lame using Kluber now but he was my only starter with full energy) and the box score says he didn’t have a hit, but the game log says, “Kluber lined to left for a single”. The game froze and then there is one out and nobody on base...

Sigh. So I guess dashboarding is not always a bad thing.

Yeah, not sure what OP meant by that. The only thing my opponent was guilty of was having a$ hit Internet connection (unless he was lag switching...)

I don't care about wins, losses or stats anymore. This game is such erratic bs, if I have 5 or 6 hits, hitting at'em balls consistently, can't get a run, then my opponent swings at everything, 20 strikeouts, and then some cheesy bunt or hit batter and his 1st hit of the game is a tying home run in the 5th? With Swanson? I've quit on 0-2 pitches I'm throwing in the dirt, hit for home runs and I've had games where my perfect perfects were all outs. This game is bs. Btw, prestige is a total bs waste of effort. I got Cobb, Walker, Griffey, Wagner, Brett, and Posey. Plus Feller, Burnett, Degrom pitchers. None of my prestige players play any better, some seem worse than the original. Why have a prestige Walker batting .246 with 3 home runs over a Walker batting .239 with 52 home runs? It's just stupid. Jr. was .294 and 48 home runs, prestige jr is .174 with 3 home runs. Just stupid.

The first pasty of this is why i dashboard as well. I’ve had several games like that. I just quit playing online tho, just grind cards and inning stars now.

    I’m sympathetic, Scott D.
The game is so erratic that it is hard to enjoy sometimes. I mean a little BS we can all live with, but, realistically, is there ANY aspect of this year’s gameplay that is actually good??

^ this, offline was the only enjoyable part of this game for me this year and even then i still scratched my baseball itch with ‘19 more than ‘20. This year was a dumpster fire, when i went back to ‘19 it was refreshing watching my outfielder actually catch a ball or field a ball and not get stuck into a 15 minute ball transfer animation that leads to a single becoming a triple.

Or worse, when the outfielder runs away from the ball because the game selected your infielder.

but it's just pathetic how some people lash out when things don't go their way......that's exactly what you are doing. You didn't get credit for a homer (not getting your way) and you are lashing out.

Big difference. When you dashboard because things aren't going your way, you're taking something away from someone (even if it's just a homerun on a video game) . The OP being mad about it and posting about it didn't take anything away from anybody. They just posted about their frustration about something that clowns who play this game do (this is a forum about the game). The OP didn't take anything away from anyone by posting about it or "lashing out" as you called it.

So we're going to blame SDS instead of people who actually go out of their way to dashboard? People should be able to wait two seconds for the ball to land and then quit in the pause menu. I believe in holding people accountable for their own personal actions. There is literally no reason to dashboard.

I never said it was sportsmanlike, but dashboarding has always happened in this game, when you force ppl to prestige players online of course this is going to happen. Its no different than the first month and everyone was walking or hitting my Todd Helton. A lot of the players who play this game are toxic AF, this year was worse than ever, but considering the toxic players (dashboarders) nor the ppl being screwed by the dashboarding chose to make the prestige grind online, I am going to blame SDS.

I mean ya I hear you there. I guess knowing how toxic players of this game are making anything online only isn't a good idea but I honestly like the stats prestige route that they had this year. Either way, personally for all it's worth (which is nothing), I still choose to blame the players who dashboard because it's a personal decision to do that but I can somewhat hear what you're saying.

Dashboarding causing people to lose stats is 100% on SDS. They have the ability to alter and tweak the game as they see fit yet they do nothing about this year after year. Blame the people that are doing it, sure but the simple fact is that SDS allows it and doesn't seem to care that it happens
