Miguel Cabrera is Disappointing

He needs an awards card and not a Sig. They've almost made Sig cards obsolete this year with the introduction of Awards and Prime. The Sig cards always get dragged down by a player's worst years- Cliff Lee, Cole Hamels, Tom Glavine, Todd Helton, Greg Maddux, Jimmy Rollins, Chipper Jones, Miggy, Ted Williams, and Eddie Matthews all deserved better cards than they got. You could make arguments for a few others too.
Really, if they're going to keep Sig, Awards, and Prime cards next year, they should have some sort of transparent structure for why each cards gets what series.

He's probably Exhibit A though as far as how Sig Series drags down some players attributes. Prime Lee would without question be a 99 OVR with top flight per/9's that would be competitive at the highest levels of ranked seasons.
I'm a lifelong Phils fan and absolutely loved watching Lee pitch during his run with us in the early 10's- I wish his card in DD matched how dominant he was in his prime.

Agree. I think SDS really disrespected him and Alan Trammell and their abilities as players. I can barely hit eight Trammell just like I can barely hit with Miggy. Just because the Tigers suck now doesn’t mean that the best players in their history should suck too!
As a Tigers fan I’m just flat out insulted. Shame on SDS.

Last year and this year Cabrera has been a singles machine but oddly nothing more. It's like someone at SDS hates the tigers and programed him to have zero power.

I just went 0-6 with him in a game for Tigers innings. You can't make this up.

They have always done Miggy dirty. Pretty sad considering he is the last person to actually achieve the triple crown.

If Babe Ruth is a 99 OVR along with the other inner circle guys, then Alan Trammell as a 98 is a bit far from an insult.

Do you think the player model or swing can directly affect stats? We always say people have a glitchy swing. Can it work the opposite? And I'm not talking about user error, everyone hits differently with some people. They gave us an older/ larger Miggy, maybe that player model just does translate the stas well.
