Wait, so for the old timers event we aren’t going to be able to use most of the actual old timers? The majority of them are signature series or reward guys since they basically cut prime cards short. They should have included signature series cards in this, at this rate the only “best” old timers that will be usable are Wagner, Cobb, Mantle, and Minoso. Cmon SDS.

This was my point...the way they structured it, you will see 75% Finest cards for the 3rd or 4th event in a row, and very few “old timers”...

I honestly think they don’t know how to code events to have era or year specific requirements, because in 4 years they haven’t limited events by what year the card played in 1 time, and it seems like such an obvious thing to have an 80s or 90s event

The ONLY cards that will be limited to Age 35 or older would be LS cards.

I don't think the event is locked at Shibe because I think it would have said that in the description on twitter. I think they just used Shibe for the video.

Finest don’t belong in this, it’s not even within the theme , we’ve had finest for the last two events and the next one also.
Old timers and veterans main requirement should be legends and anyone over 35 from any other card type and that’s it

Can't even use the good Cano card, just his "juiced" LS card.

You cant even use Mathewson for an old timers event? The guy they gave as a reward for the dead ball era event. But you can use a 22 year old Juan Soto in the old timers event.
That makes total sense.

They shouldn't have the finest cards in the event I know they want people to use them and prestige them but every left fielder is going to be Soto. 3rd will be Machado. Unless you play him at 1st or SS and have 94 Chipper which should not be a Vet card

I don’t know, I’ll screw around and use Cobb, Honus, Jacoby, Chipper and probably even the Big Hurt. I haven’t prestiged any of them either so it’s kind of fun to mix them in.

I will probably try for a mostly prime lineup but I might get smoked not using Soto and Mookie. I just recently picked up Zobrist and Parker so I could get an all prime lineup everywhere but 3rd. OF:Mantle, Parker, Cobb. 1B:Frank 2B: Zobrist SS: Honus C:Sandoval(I think he is the only prime card that can play catcher that isn’t Lucroy’s trash card)
