Dave Roberts / Pedro Baez / Kenley Jansen

Ok guys, we can let our frustrations out here.
Feel free!

Dave Roberts admitted after the game he messed up with Baez. Told him he was done and then put him back out there.
Jansen’s stuff looked good. He had a broken bat hit. A walk against the hottest bat in the series where randy held up on some tough pitches. And a bloop hit.
I’m not as frustrated as most dodgers fans I’m sure if you said in March you’d be playing a 3 game series to win the World Series with kershaw and Buehler on full rest any dodger player or fan would take it.

We all know Kershaw is a Choker in the Postseason...and Roberts mismanaged his Pen in every World Series

Kershaw has choked in the past. He dominated game one is this series if you missed it.
And Robert's definitely can't manage a bullpen. -
Jansen not backing up the play at the plate I think was the biggest brain fart.

Agreed, I might be able to let it slide if the guy wasn't a former catcher himself!

Nah, I think Smith totally missing a catchable throw right to him was bigger.
It's worse than the ball getting through Buckner's glove in 86.

Add the fresh prince and CT3 to the title of this thread. Because they all combined for the comedy of errors we saw last night.

I mean I think you have to admit the baseball gods stepped in there. Brett Phillips first plate appearance in like 17 days? How does he look at the first two pitches in? And the sinker down and away? Then he somehow gets a cutter on the plate and flares it into shallow right? You could not write that.

Has nothing to do with baseball gods.
It's just typical Dodger baseball. -

It's just typical DodgerI give full credit to Phillips for clutching up in the moment of his life there, but for sure, everything after the hit falls, how likely is it for all three of those things to happen again?

Every called strike was outside the zone, he was locked in.

I agree. It was a super clutch at bat.
