Tom Seaver got a nice picture in the game when he passed away. Will Lou Brock get the same treatment?

They posted a tribute on Facebook. Haven't gotten on to see an in-game tribute yet.

I played a game the other night where I subbed him in for Larry Doby in left when Doby came up to bat the first time. He had a great game and capped it off by hitting a 3 run blast that made my opponent rage quit. Sweet Lou took control of the PCI for me in that game.

Heard a story about Lou during the Cards game. He said before the ‘74 season that he wanted to break Wills’s record. Everybody thought he was crazy cuz A) he’d never stole more than 74 and B) he was 35 freaking years old. First week of that season he had a grand total of zero steals and then everyone was 100% positive he was crazy! Well, then he ran at will!! So what this tells me is, if he had wanted to, his total could’ve been far more than 938. Dude was a stud!

Tom Seaver was a better pitcher than Brock was a line up guy. But I would have no problem with some RESPECT

Lou Brock always said he wanted to be a power hitter. And if he wanted to he could have. But he wanted the SB record so that’s what he did. Lou Brock could have been a 600hr 600 sb in his career he could hit bombs.

I appreciate the sentiment but he was never a power hitter nor did he want to be. He prided himself on being a lead off hitter and had the skill set/confidence to be one of the best ever in the 1 hole. The Cubs didn't use him right and tried to control him. They wanted him hitting groundballs to the left side and running them out to get on for Williams, Santo, and Banks.

Good for the Cardinals who let him do his own thing which turned out to be a stud. He had good gap power and excellent bat control.
