Topps Now Padres Down 7-3 moment
-
They've got 2 bench bats that hit around 72/73 vs. RHP, which obviously isn't ideal, but is miles better than what Hedges and Paddack bring to the table.

Kill me now. I’ve tied it at 7-7, ten times.
This is not worth the high blood pressure, but I can’t stop trying for some reason.
Anyone else having trouble with this one?
I just finished the Torii Hunter moments, but I’m sure I’ll pass the Topps Now moments today. I started doing the Padres moment in Zone hitting with the “Strike Zone 1” view and almost got it the first couple of times. I feel all the advise in this thread is on point so far. Thanks everyone.

Took 5 times and I felt lucky it was only that many. When I finally won it went homer/single/single/homer and I thought hey tie game and none out...I got this! Then went rng warning track shot and thought uh oh....next batter weak grounder to short....two outs now. Double uh oh. Then double from 7 and single from 8 to win it. Whew.
TdT

Yeah it was tougher than I though it would be. I lost with bases loaded tied 7-7 with one out. Hit into a double play. Probably took about 30 tries. The chaplain/Mets is no walk in the park either. Luckily Nido hit a homer around the 20th try. As for Torii, that one might be tough.
-
Basically you have to get everyone on base safely before you get to Myers. Cronenworth is not bad but Profar is the total [censored] shot. I did finish it with Profar hitting a 3 run blast that hit the top of the wall. Also, use directional hitting.
-
Thanks for the advice everyone. A lot of good stuff in here.
-
Yup, I feel like I got lucky too. 5th try single/hr/single/hr and Myers walked it off with a hr. Lucchesi’s change is wiffle ball slow on rookie. Be patient and lay off the first two pitches which are almost always low changes.

It took a HR from Cronenworth, but the Padres moment and all the other Topps Now moments are done. I have over 30 Topps Now cards, but how many are we going to need for the POTM?
-
I finished it in about five or six tries, my key to it was swinging everyone with X, hit a HR with Grisham and then gappers with Tatis and Machado
-
Solano HR was my most difficult, longest it’s taking me on single HR moment this year.

Don’t forget to pinch-hit for 8-9 hitters
But you only have 5 on the bench!!

Base hits or weak fly balls. Took me over 20 tries.
-
I beat it with no outs on the third try, power swings only, first two guys hrs, then a couple singles and another bomb to walk it off. I felt like I got very lucky on the amount of meatballs on that specific try

I finally got it done. Took another 11 tries yesterday morning before the rng gods allowed a perfect HR. Had probably 15 previous perfects and they ended as singles, or lineouts. I've never struggled through a HR mission as badly as this one.

Tried 15 times earlier. Serious noodle for a bat haha. Will try it later

SDS is so f'in weird. I was tied as 7 3 times and they just nerf your bats when you get to 7-7. Why would they think this was a reasonable moment. Man I hate this studio
-
I did this third try. Restart early if Grisham doesn’t homer, you need the pitcher to have low confidence at the end of the inning when your hitting with two outs. Also whatever you do don’t let Hedges hit. I’m a diehard Padres fan and I can assure you Hedges is the most automatic out in all off baseball
-
I think it took me 4 tries...got it without making an out when I got through. Just be patient, look for fastballs to drive.
-
Yeah I eventually got it, 12ish tries. Just another dumb moment idea
