But for real, even as an owner of Larkin, Rollins, Jackie, Hornsby, Bryant, Killebrew, etc., there's no way this guy won't find a home for me somewhere.

I would like to hear that explanation as well. I plan on taking Bo, Clint and Yordan. Might buy Shaw, but not sure.

If I want to play with fake players I'll play Super Mega Baseball. But even still, his eligibility should get him somewhere.
Speaking of which, I haven't watched enough Blue Jay games to know so am I to assume during this stretch he has actually played at all three positions? I didn't know if they were just being generous since I would expect the card to represent him accurately on both offense and defense during that week.

I'd find it weird for someone not taking him just because he's more expensive than all the others, so why wouldn't you take the most expensive in a choice pack?

SERIOUSLY considered Nido, b/c at this point, I'm putting a strong emphasis on filling out individual team grind lineups and i already have PL Bo.
But when I discovered Nido doesn't have any secondaries and he'd never beat out Piazza, it become a moo point.

Yea I have prestige chipper 3rd cap ss and Hornsby 2b. No need for bo.

I went Bo, Alvarez and Frazier. I bought Nido and Hayes just to help fill out the set. Nido is terrible even by catcher standards.

I haven't picked yet, but i dont know for sure who i am picking, but i could maybe not pick him. I already have a Diamond Bo, sure it is inferior, but why get another one. I only play online to Prestige players or do missions, so since he can't be prestiged, I dont care if he is the best MIF in the game. And if Tatis is August POTM, that is a player I will definitely go for.
Again not saying i wont take him, but its not a given

To be fair, giving players insanely boosted cards off an extremely small sample size kinda makes them “fake players”, too.

Took Nido, Bo and Yordan. First game played all 3 against cpu on HOF. Nido 3-5 with 2 no doubters. Bo is now 0-12 in 3 games. Nido is not as bad as everyone makes him out to be. I picked Nido for the diamond d and his offense has been great.

I agree, I’ve been buying them all every time they release (at least the ones I didn’t get in the packs). I have a strong feeling that the Tatis FOTF 99 was a precursor to a players of the month Tatis. Especially with the great feedback coming from that card.

There can be only one "Bo". Bo Jackson. So, I will not take him on principle.
P.S. Full disclosure, I selected Bo. This proves I am not a lunatic. But I do it under protest.
P.S.S. WHERE'S MY BO JACKSON CARD.
P.S.S.S. SDS, when you release the Bo Jackson card as part of TA4, I want the added animation where he breaks his bat over his head.
