Constant “Network Error” is killing this game for me
-
Just played an event game. Didn’t even make through the top half of the first before I got disconnected. I got the win, but also a disconnect card. SDS......put the ganja down, and fix your game. Jeez
-
I get the frustration. But I hate to tell you, it’s got to be on your end.
-
Call your internet provider. I was having issues. Found out they changed some things systematically and I needed a new filter, so it was a physical change that gave me what I needed.

Negative sir! Net is fine. All devices work without interruption.

I’ll try that thanks!

Hello, I never had that issue when hardwired at home and recently came to my in-laws and it happens to me once or twice a day.
The ultimate kick in the nuts, it happened to me down 4 runs to a Final Showdown Boss. Yes, ALL was lost...
Has to be a local network thing.

Guess I spoke too soon....
I have been playing 20 since launch, and haven't had any problems until a week ago. So I've been having the same issue as you. Can't connect longer than 5 minutes, and I am hardwired in. I have changed my modem and router three times. Finally a tech came over and said I have too much ingress in my outlets, causing a lot of inconsistency in my signal. They are coming today to put a new internet line in my wall, I'll keep y'all updated on how it goes. -
Spent most of the day initializing my ps4, thought maybe that would work. Took hours. Disconnect within 10 minutes. I simply don’t understand how every other device works just fine, except this.

17 more disconnects tonight.

Do you live in a big city? What type of Internet do you have? I have not heard of this problem especially as often as you have it. There's got to be some sort of network error or something on your internet companies side of things. I don't know enough about technical stuff but that doesn't sound right. I don't see how it could be San Diego studios issues when it is affecting only you or a very small percentage of people.

I live in the St. Louis are, Illinois side a town of 25 thousand. I have Charter Spectrum. Around here, that’s about the fastest internet I can get. All my other devices work including YoutubeTV. Just did a remodel. Worked fine before I moved out. No disconnects while I lived in an apartment for 5 months on WiFi. Now I’m back in, I’m wired, and it disconnects all the time.
-
I have a Spectrum tech coming out Saturday morning to get to the bottom of this issue. 12 more disconnects today. All I lack for Phillips is beating the Reds in all star but cant even get through a game without a disconnect. Kinda bummed that nobody from SDS has even bothered to reply but I’m not surprised.
-
I was having this issue last night. Cost me a 9th win in a row. I was pissed.
-
Still having the same issue, two weeks for me. I've had a new modem put in, a new internet line, nothing changes. Still disconnects after 5 minutes. So I'm going to buy a gaming router this weekend and see if that helps anything.
-
Welp, Spectrum tech came and left. He replaced the entire line going from the pole to the house. Gave me a new LAN cable. He improved my signal......if that’s the right terminology? Still disconnects after 5 minutes. I’m at my wits end!

Same thing happened to me man, the only thing left that I can think of is buying my own gaming router -
Oh yeah I get at least one a day. I was just playing RS against a guy I was gonna whip, up 3-0 in 2nd and poof, network error. I’m not gonna y’all about the next game, but it was a classic example of all the issues this game has.... you name it and it happened and likely multiple times. Small bit was 7 warning track shots of perfect or good placement with 100+ power guys lol.... makes me see why people play at shippet and coors all the time

guys i have a theory and please someone in IT or tech correct me if i'm wrong -
does the TYPE of internet make the difference here in games being lost ?
for example - fiber internet speeds of min upload rate of 50mbps = DO YOU GUYS DROP CONNECTION A LOT IN GAME?
example 2 - COPPER WIRE INTERNET of min upload rate of 10 mbps = DO YOU DROP CONNECTION A LOT?
*i am in this category - and i never drop very very rare
example 3 - COAXIAL CABLE INTERNET of min upload rate of 15mgbps = I DROPPED ALL THE TIME ON THIS CONNECTION BEFORE SWITCHING PROVIDERS

See I don't know, but I have been playing the show since 18 and haven't had any problems until mid July. And it's not my actual speed that is the problem because I'm hardlined running about 250 down
