"Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."
With all the problems people have with the game, I have been okay and quiet through all the silliness. It's a game and not perfect and stuff happens.
But these Future Stars could be the official tell-tale sign that MLB The Show has officially Jumped the Shark.
I get that the season is on life support and you need content but, come on. This isn't Baseball Stars. It is supposed to be a Simulation of the current state of the game. And dudes that have played 3 innings in Major League games being rated equal to or higher than Hall Of Famers?!?! Give me a break. Change the Scale.
For separating the Player Programs from Prestige Programs and for adding Completion % to the Team Affinity screen. (And for the "Completed" note on Player Programs.) My anxiety has gone down 27%.
(Not so happy about you catching on to the Double Affinity points on MTO but it was fun while it lasted...¯_(ツ)_/¯)
PS- Can you please add Offline Challenges to Player Prestiges, pretty please?..
Highest in the game by far for an SP. If he gets a little bit of confidence going, he'll be unhittable.
The odds are not great to get the Rare and the Base prices are currently 50% of the buy-in
The Rares are currently at the price of the 2 packs (70k) so maybe just buy the guy you want...
Tempted but know better...
It'd be great if it T3 contained stat missions for earned TA Prospect, FOF, and FS players.
Not just a single Moment like for the FS in T2, but actual in-game grind stats like in Player Programs (IP, H, XBH, HR, SB, R, etc.) Repeatable would be cool, too.
Otherwise, these players just sit there and are hardly ever used. (At least for me, anyway.)
Thoughts?
Save. Your. Stubs. The 25:1 odds for 90 or higher means it's not worth it. And anyone one worth less than 25k is not worth it either, therefore:
Filter the Market between 85 and 89 overall and with 25k minimum, these are the majority of the players you will probably get that might be worth it. And it is a VERY short list and in my opinion even fewer (maybe only Yelich) I would actually want.
Try Custom Practice on Legend. I play it constantly especially when scouting Showdown Bosses.
Don't feel bad: I'm 42 and been playing this game since it was called Baseball Stars and I still can't hit the High-and-Tight Cheese... ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Good point: the Tiger fans suffer enough as it is...
GT7 gave out 1M credits as an apology for bad servers at the start.
I won’t hold my breath but just sayin’.
Just swept the Mini Seasons championship only to learn after my win that the game summary cannot be found due to a friendly quit or something. Classy move SDS. Counts as an L for me even though I won. Series is 2-1 now and I’m afraid to play again.
Why do the servers keep dropping while I’m in game only to learn after grinding that the achievements won’t count?!? Mini Season, Conquest, Showdown…
What a travesty. Fix this game, please.
AND Mookie is now a finalist for NL MVP. Best player on the Best Team (sorry Corey). Makes sense.
99 Finest, on deck?

You're happy about a game that got disconnected and you lost? hmmm.
I’m happy with the gameplay, yes. Most of the games I play, regardless of whether they are on all star or HoF, and regardless of whether I win or lose, the pitch speeds are ridiculously fast. And the ball seems to warp to the plate. During the aforementioned game, I could easily track the ball from the pitcher’s hand. I felt like I had forever to swing. Sure I was disappointed when it disconnected, but for the 5 innings I played before it disconnected, it didn’t seem like I was swinging at lasers beams. And that’s a win for me.
Sounds like Offline play. Still the purest form of the game's experience, in my opinion.
I think you mean Lighting. (Lightening is Sammy Sosa's skin regimen)
Agreed. He should have had a WS card in the high 90s, for sure.
@x-Alec_J-x said in PS5 or XBox Series X controllers for PCI placement and more for 2021:
Even the weird CPU "dive" RNG -- in which they sometimes catch the ball, but just as often dont....can hopefully be exchanged for a more realistic CPU AI that reacts more like a real fielder. Only a few guys in the league would actually dive for a line drive in the outfield...and when they do, its usually a catch. I cant remember the last time i saw a guy dive for a ball in the outfield just to have it bounce around on his glove and drop....in real life. If they dont trap it, they catch it -- mostly because its a very rare play, that usually only the best fielders try.
"DIVE" should be a Quirk for that small minority of players that have this ability. Problem solved.

I have Mixed feelings. Very mixed feelings about this.
Fellow Tigers fans, we need a good manager for our struggling team, but with his role in the Asterisk cheating scandal... do we forgive?
He and Carlos Beltran and Alex Cora should receive the Pete Rose treatment. End of story.
Good thing they wrapped the Series last night. Game 7 would have been postponed to Thanksgiving.
Does this mean we get a 99 WS MVP Corey Seager in the Postseason Program? Gimme, gimme.
