It's not the stadiums alone. The opponent using potato internet is a bigger issue. Daytime events play like [censored] sometimes because of internet usage z especially during this pandemic.
I played an away game at ShitPit this morning. Worst lag I've had all year. Sure as ship wasn't the ballpark causing the performance issue.
That’s true too. But internet is something people have less control over.
I'm not choosing ShitPit because you don't have my areas internet. Once again, it's not the stadium.
BTW, 8 out of 10 games in MLB parks? I see 12 out 10 at ShitPit.
Guy hits 7 Solo HR at ShitPit. "Wow, I'm good".
Guy gives up 7 at ShitPit. "whatever, it's because we're playing at ShitPit. I'll score 8 next inning".
You don’t have to play at “ShitPit”. I have World Series runs at Green Mountain because it’s a very fair park without the fluke hits and home runs.
I agree you can’t have your cake and eat it too. But it’s definitely the stadium, and if it’s not just the stadium, it’s a very large factor. Internet is not an issue here in NYC and for the most park, SDS does a good job matchmaking you with other N.Y. players for example

Took me awhile to notice but there is definitely is a difference. Laggy, choppy, sometimes it makes pitches look 10mph faster.
-
Its there. To be fair, it’s not every single MLB stadium. Minute Maid and Yankee Stadium seem to be the worse
-
I don’t care if it’s a mlb stadium bc my hitting is mostly unaffected. I such in both. But what really grinds my gears is when it’s a day game Can’t see the ball to save your life

I've played this game for a long time and I've heard people complain about lag in mlb stadiums for a while but if I'm being honest, I have never noticed the lag people talk about.
Can someone explain what i should look for? I'm having a hard time seeing it as a big deal if I haven't been able to notice it but it would be nice to have at least some idea of what to look for
It’s a stutter and drop in frame rate that I get in MLB parks because of the detail. It just doesn’t look smooth
I can't say I've noticed anything like that but I'll keep an eye out for it

#cancel/ defund Shippett

Thanks for this topic. I didn't even know this was a thing.. I've always wondered but I'm not great at the game so I thought it was that. Does the POV you use also affect this? I've been trying a few and felt like it did but I don't know the game like others so I can't tell. What is the best POV to use?

In RS games I always pick Wrigley since I’m a Cubs fan and that’s what my team name and uniforms are the Cubs. I’m not a WS ranked player but I’m not a causal either. I never notice lag. My internet is good and I play on a large TV. I get it, I could play on a fast response monitor blah blah blah. I spent the money for the game I’ll play where I want
-
i didn't ready anything but, They are able to pick an MLB stadium if they have it in their inventory. They select it prior to the game starting. They pick that stadium because that is where they want to play. Kind of like how some horrible people play at polo in the rain.
-
I rarely pick MLB stadiums, but I also have never get the lag people tag about. Or if I do, it’s really at the same frequency I see it at milb stadiums.
If there’s anything annoying to me about MLB stadiums it’s something like the batters eye (or lack there of) in Houston. Or some of the mound cameras. -
I notice absolutely zero difference. The game plays the same to me regardless of the stadium.

any stadium is better than fugly shippett
Then play at Green Mountain, Riverboat, All American, even Date Palm. At least there, you’re rewarded for PCI placement and smoother gameplay.
Is this really better for pci placement in hitting?

This is news to me. I thought is was my internet, causing the the crappy gameplay. until I got Verizon fios 800mbps. Fast as hell. And that didn't fix the gameplay. I guess I'll pick a bootleg minor league stadium next RS game.
-
Franco for life.
-
I don't get mad at people for picked MLB stadiums because it is not their fault at all and those stadiums should be available. It is frustrating when they do because it is much harder to hit and the pitch speeds are faster and timing windows are off.
-
When I play at Minute Maid, I can hear those trash cans ever so slightly. Also, it let's you use guess pitch without your opponent knowing.
-
I’ll have to experiment with that. I’ll try anything to make RS suck less.
