I've always enjoyed Felix IRL. I'm not a competitive online player, so the meta doesn't mean anything to me. I'll probably buy Ellsbury since I love the Red Sox. But I mean, how could you not pick King Felix?

My favorite player when I was young was Kid Nichols. When I saw him pitch as a rookie, it reminded me of my long-forgotten youth. Later in life, I became disillusioned with the flashy modern-day theatrics of players like Grover Cleveland Alexander and Nap Lajoie. When I first saw Jim O’Rourke animatedly grab his crotch while staring down Mordecai Brown, I knew the game I remembered from my youth was gone forever.

Ellsbury looks decent, but holy [censored] they made Felix even better than I thought! His worst pitch is the sweeping curve with break and control in the 80s, everything else is NASTY!!!
I might have to grind for him all weekend cuz even though he's my favorite player I shouldn't spend $300 to get him a bit early lol. At 95 stars and I haven't started playing yet

McGwire was my favorite too. Everyone knew he was on the juice, what we didn’t know was that practically everyone else was too.

Since I was little too young for the 1998 HR chase, my guy was Barry Bonds lol. He was an asshole but man that dude knew how to hit and terrified opposing pitchers. I remember seeing him tee off on whatever sad M's pitcher we had out at the time. I think it was Bedard, a man I don't want to talk about.
