I'm wondering if they will do the Honus Wagner program like they did last year. I'm also wondering if they do it again this cycle, would they choose anyone else to be the main card.

    Thoughts?

I think they do, they already have it sort of set up with the collections, all they need to do is later on add more rewards for rookies/prime/ss cards etc.

I hope it's not Honus the same way..

I'm thinking it might be multiple guys for flashback/legend rewards, with guys like Babe, Ted, Mays in there.

Affinity stage 4 should be crazy.. plus maybe collection rewards towards getting all of those

I've seen some mentions of Matt Stairs across the forums.

Who'd be worthy of the Honus treatment?

    Babe <-- my guess
    Mays
    Ted
    A-Rod
    Pujols
    Trout

I would lean Babe or Ted as well. Since Mays was the LS collection last year I don’t think they would have another collection for him. A-Rod would have been revealed pre-release if he was in the game. No one would do the collection for a 4 point trout overall boost

this list minus arod, pujols,or trout.but added Aaron. while I admit he would/should be the marketing focus- honus wasn't mentioned pre release last year

I'm saving all the flashbacks that are released until they reveal the collection rewards. I could see Babe Ruth, but like someone mentioned having multiple rewards would make sense based in a program like the current theme. I'd love Hank Aaron personally.

Mike Trouts rookie card just went for 900k a few weeks ago so it would be easy for them to do that and keep the same expensive card theme as last year

I've been saying it could be Aaron for awhile. Would be nice.

I doubt it's Trout. Trout might get something later in the season like last years signature series card.

Aaron would be great. Though he's a lot like Mays. Less defense and speed, more power. Max power pretty much..

DiMaggio would be cool, but they would need to raise the vision to 150 just for him

Hank Aaron would actually make a lot of sense w the braves vs Yankees thing going on and mantle being the other top card in the game

I think it’ll be Honus again. It’s the most expensive card in history, so it makes sense.

I hear the 1996 Pinnacle Foil Bob Hamelin is a strong collection contender.

Hopefully instead of getting vouchers for each set of cards to redeem towards Honus, we actually get diamond cards of that set similar to how the Live Series collection is structured.
