How do you acquire the Felipe Vazquez Breakout CP card? Was this removed, but the card still shows in the breakout collection?
-
Pirates Team affinity I believe.
-
There's a BO Felipe Rivero (before he changed his last name to Vazquez) if that's who you meant. He's not an affinity reward, no idea how to get him.

He was the team affinity reward for the Pirates. But they changed it to Gerrit Cole after, well, you know why.

They got rid of the child molester and replaced him with Cole
-
Unfortunately, he's a scumbag, and his card creates a playing field imbalance.
In an extremely-innings game, he is another diamond RP who can dominate.
They should have just removed every copy completely.
-
So.... You can no longer earn the 85 Vazquez - Breakout card?

I am I the only person surprised that Alan Dershowitz isn’t his lawyer
-
Whenever an opponent brings him in against me I forfeit the game - don’t care if I take the loss....down right despicable that somebody would use him after what he has done

I think I’ve only seen him used in game by opponents twice since the news broke. If you want to quit that’s up to you, but you shouldn’t jump to conclusions. Some people may be using him to be a troll, but the majority of MLB The Show players probably don’t even know who the guy is and just see a diamond lefty eligible for the event. If I were to play NBA 2K online, I wouldn’t know the vast majority of players and could just as easily make a similar mistake.
-
I hate what he did and think he is by far guilty, but his diamond card was a stud this year. He was my favorite relief pitcher early on in the year. Wish mlb just took that card out completely so nobody could of use it.

I find this sentiment curious. By no means do I mean to defend him at all, what he did was horrible. But I find it curious that there is a strong feeling on these boards against him yet I haven’t seen any posts against Addison Russell, Aroldis Chapman, Jose Reyes, oduble Herrera, or Domingo German and only a small handful of posts against Osuna. All of them served suspensions for domestic violence. So is the line between distaste and disgust the aged the victim?
Again, I am genuinely curious on your point of view. I am not defending any of the above. I also have not used Vazquez since the allegations despite him being BY FAR the best LHP I have available. Remember to keep your reply within the TOS. -
SDS never offered me the opportunity to trade in the BO Vazquez for the Cole card. Yes, he is a scumbag to the nth degree...yet Ty Cobb is a World Series reward.

They didn’t offer the switch in game, but they made it known on the forum that all you had to do was email them if you wanted Cole instead. If you actually care, it’ll take you 10 seconds to email them.
-
They should have phased him out, entirely.
Not doing so made him a desirable asset for this event, and I can't blame the players for wanting 3 diamond relievers in the pen.
That being said, I've him him pretty [censored] hard, especially with lefties: if you use him against me, this is your first and final warning.

Ty Cobb’s life and personality and him being a “extreme racist” were blown out of proportion after he died. A lot of what is said about Cobb is completely made up.

A lot of what was said about Cobb is completely true. Including the truly Immortal Quote "I don't care if he has no feet!"
He's still one of the Top 5 players of all time and deserved to be a WS reward.
