Yes, I believe that John Donaldson will get inducted from the "Contemporary Era Ballot" when it's announced at the Winter Meetings in Dallas in December.

@SaveFarris_PSN Garvey was considered by some of his fellow players on other teams, his teammates, sports reporters, and fans as the best overall first baseman in the National League, if not MLB, back in the 1970's, and his overall stats during that decade support their claim. But after he left the Los Angeles Dodgers following the 1982 season and signed with my former hometown San Diego Padres; his offensive numbers dropped significantly. By 1987, his final year in San Diego, Garvey had to have his whole shoulder fixed, and was out from mid-May until the end of the year. The following year, 1988, he had a tryout with the Dodgers, but his repaired shoulder limited him, and he wasn't signed, so he had to retire. His overall career numbers and some character issues, '"He supposedly got three women pregnant in 1988,'" (His wife at the time and two others), according to CNN Headline News during that year, and an alleged fight with Hall of Famer Don Sutton in the 1970's that was witnessed by their teammates (A disagreement about their wives that got extremely personal between the two), according to a book I read about the Los Angeles Dodgers of the 1970's, will keep Garvey from being inducted into Cooperstown now, and probably until he passes. But, I am still a fan of his even to this day, and hope that he'll eventually be inducted in the future.

Even though I absolutely would love to see John being inducted into the Hall of Fame; I believe that Dave Parker had a longer peak than him. From 1976-1979, you could argue that Parker was the best overall player in MLB, period. He was the 1978 N.L. MVP with the Pittsburgh Pirates, and had better offensive numbers than Willie McGee, when he placed second in MVP voting in 1985 with the Cincinnati Reds, his childhood and hometown team. Then, with the Oakland's A's in 1989, he won his second World Series Championship ten years after winning with the '"We Are Family,'" Pirates in 1979 along with Willie Stargell. Lastly the man has nearly 1500 RBI's, my personal standard and my opinion for automatic Hall of Fame induction, with 1493. If I had to choose only one player that I could induct, it would be Parker over John and the rest of those players.

Yes, sometimes I will have played the same opponent twice in Ranked, and if I have beaten him or her both times, I will have to face them in Battle Royale, a totally different mode. But, usually I face different opponents with either some of the same players, or a similar skill set as me. On occasion, I will face opponents that will be a top-ranked opponent in ranked, and get routed by them. As a result as far as ranked, it's been fair to me. This year is my best year in ranked; but I am still a little under .500, and I stiil get my [censored] whupped by top teams every now and then. For me, I have had to fail (sometimes tremendously) in the past to get a whole lot better in the present.

Jason Mraz once repped the Padres. I don't know who does it now?

How are you going to move that fan to left field? When he yanked the ball from both Betts' hand and glove, he was in right.
-
@Ericulous1_PSN It took me about thirty minutes and failing about ten times, but I finished the moment with Rocchio. As long as you can make good to perfect contact on his normal swing, you should be able to get it done soon.

@sbchamps17_NSW The NLCS goes back to Los Angeles after the Mets beat the Dodgers, 12-6. Still, the Dodgers need to win just one more game to go to the World Series.
-
@sbchamps17_NSW Respectfully, are you nuts?! Doerr and Boudreau are Hall-of-Famers, and some of the rest of those players on that list, were the better contact and power hitters of their era. Why isn't SDS using them?

@MarioMendoza935_XBL McCann and Staumont would been the cards I would have replaced. I would have replaced McCann with Eric Hosmer, and Staumont with Yordano Ventura; if the show has or had the rights to those two players. In order for sets and seasons to work in the future there has to be a lot more players than there are now. The recycling is getting to be a bit too much.

It's hard to spell, and he is still a young catcher. Now, if he was a Hall-of-Famer, we would be giving you a hard time.

@chekmate_13_PSN You forgot Draft Kings!

This is an interesting idea, but I feel like this would be an unwelcome distraction for players like me who's eyes are extremely light-sensitive. I feel like I would be swinging at the color; and not the location of where the ball is being pitched, causing me to be a lot worse at this game. The color would have to be darker and would have to fade after every pitch in order for it to be a teaching lesson for me. In addition, not to go entirely off subject, but to deviate slightly from it, would you employ the same tutorial for pitchers against hitters? They both use the same plate, but in opposite directions. Just a thought to wrap your mind around.

Mark McGwire was a starting pitcher alongside Randy Johnson at USC in the early 1980's, Jake Cronenworth was a relief pitcher with the Tampa Rays both in their minor league system and in the majors, Kenley Jansen was a catcher with the Netherlands in the World Baseball Classic in 2013, I believe, and the Los Angeles Dodgers farm system, before switching to relief pitching just about a year later, and Masyn Winn was a starting pitcher in high school and his first year in the minors for the St. Louis Cardinals before devoting all his time to playing shortstop, his other natural position, as he was drafted as a two-way player several years back. There are perhaps eight players that are legit in "The OOP Program," in their secondary positions; the rest are reaches or all-out misses. This was a decent program that I don't want to see again.

Especially, since they traded most of their good players at the deadline this year. Congratulations to the Detroit Tigers for playing extremely hard and making the playoffs. Let's hope that they make a deep playoff run in October.

For me this year, Rube Foster, a Negro League and MLB Hall-of-Famer is my best pitcher. In previous years, Bob Gibson and Fernando Valenzuela have been my best pitchers. On the other hand, the best I have ever done online by winning was to get to the Wild Card Level. I have only gotten to World Series by playing games and completing the stat goals to get there, but haven't done that this season.
-
With all the glitches and freezes in MLB 24 The Show, (I have had three of them in as many days), I am more of afraid of that than Genisys or Skynet taking over the world.
-
I have only two so far, Live Series Gerrit Cole and Negro League Captain Rube Foster.

No, that's on SDS! Please stop blaming players for the game developers' mistakes. This game needs a new engine in the worst way. Madden and the NHL have new engines this year, and the NBA's isn't that old. The Show wasn't even Beta-Tested for bugs this year, and it's engine is over a decade old. As for freeze-offs, I usually get this issue one out of every four times I play this game in co-op. It's frustrating, I know!
