That’s crazy I thought they were giving out way too much this year , but I stopped playing since 20 I believe . Back then just had to get abuncha stats for immortals I believe lol I remember we would have games just grinding on ranked going up to like 100 runs hahahahhaah crazy year , trading wins for stats. If anything I would say the amount of collections is overwhelming , idk if it’s been like that for the past years , but dam , they still money hungry this deep in the season.
Im confused. You stare here that you stopped playing since 20. But in an earlier post; you stated that you just hit 900 rating.

Thinking on it more, the mini season repeatables are decent.
32 hits - thats every 6 games or so for my non try hard playstyle, rookie grinders will do it faster
45 Ks for starts - realistically this is every 9-10 games or so, unless I push starters for a 3rd inningSo lets say 18 games I can get 15 show packs plus 2 deluxe non choice packs. plus the 15 packs when I then finish the season
Better than draft conquest? No but its at least different. Still no idea why they didn't make them deluxe choice packs though. Too worried about people hoarding them?

There is a new TA drop on the calendar for the 29th, but I would be shocked if it adds anything new to the main track.
They won't add anything to that main track. It will be a new program like color storm. I assume they will add a small mission to the main track for bonus TA points.
The hope is that they make this a substantial path to address the people that have not enjoyed the new TA format. I won't say SDS hasn't listened to us this year: they have added several things based on our feedback (3s map and draft map as an example). So its not an impossibility.
I actually reset my account today. i still want to play, but really not interested in an account where I have already earned every reward, save for a few deluxe packs/finest vouchers, with nothing left to grind for but a finger icon (and stubs to buy collection cards, which has zero appeal to me)
Why didn't you just make a secondary account?

You have yo field a team with players from expansion teams.

Clearly, you haven't been paying close attention to the forums of late! There are also rules within MLB for stadium construction. Here's a hint ... try building a stadium in MLB real life that has walls crisscrossing the infield -- see how far you get before MLB puts an end to your stadium design!
Which reiterates my point. Don't allow ANY created stadium online.

Sets and Seasons: I hate grinding for cards that expire and everyone has the same lineups.
Power Creep: I hate grinding for cards that are lower rated than the ones that are in packs.
They can't give out ALL of the best cards for free (Grind 99) or people would complain there is no lineup diversity.

I think this year is better because I like the lots of little collections feeding into the one big collection. Before, there were three rewards per season, but now there are about 4-5 in the same amount of time that usually arent too expensive
The big difference is collections were all earned through gameplay (no stubs spent) in the 23/24 model, and there are very little sub rewards (You could argue [censored] Allen and Wagner are subrewards, but no packs)
In those years you also have cards attached to Events and BR.

What if you need a pitch runner, late in the game for your catcher, who happens to be the tying run?
What if an infielder that can't hit lefties is up, with the tying run on base and 2 outs in the bottom of the 8th, and the pitcher brings in a lefty?
