Absolutely this. They did what everyone wanted but bringing back the power creep, but monetized more of the mode. Less cards in the program path, more in packs with a strong emphasis on the Collections. Just take a look at the TA path. Have there been any significant updates to it? Or are they just waiting for November to drop the Finest? There’s nothing between 365k and 1.4 mil. Not even a standard pack. I feel like most of the popular players (in my opinion) are either in a pack (Babe) or a collection (Jr.).

There is a new TA drop on the calendar for the 29th, but I would be shocked if it adds anything new to the main track. And it will be I'm sure easy to complete because everything must be easy to complete for the people who only want to play online.

I agree with everything here... But... SDS can make it right with a good SHARK MAP on 8/29...

I actually reset my account today. i still want to play, but really not interested in an account where I have already earned every reward, save for a few deluxe packs/finest vouchers, with nothing left to grind for but a finger icon (and stubs to buy collection cards, which has zero appeal to me)

I prefer playing on my main PSN, and i actually considered trying to relink it to a different account but then I couldn't be bothered. I think the only unobtainable card will be the Now and Later Willie Mays, and even that they may still drop in the forever program. I didnt have Judge, Ohtani, Marte, or Witt so its not like I was close to Beltran or anything.

You had me at…….Babe Ruth-Chase Pack. It’s infuriating. So you can expect 99 versions of John Donaldson, Randy Johnson, Mickey Mantle and Lou Gehrig will follow suit. We will be lucky if those cards are buried in the extreme program. I’m gonna go out on a limb and say Donaldson will be the endgame behind extreme program.

Thinking on it more, the mini season repeatables are decent.
32 hits - thats every 6 games or so for my non try hard playstyle, rookie grinders will do it faster
45 Ks for starts - realistically this is every 9-10 games or so, unless I push starters for a 3rd inningSo lets say 18 games I can get 15 show packs plus 2 deluxe non choice packs. plus the 15 packs when I then finish the season
Better than draft conquest? No but its at least different. Still no idea why they didn't make them deluxe choice packs though. Too worried about people hoarding them?

The Babe Ruth card doesn't even have 1B eligibility. It's funny though that, attribute-wise, Jose Bautista probably still has the better end-game card.

Where are the premiere packs? Where are the headliner choice packs? Why are programs only THREE GODDAMN CARDS

This year's version of the game is just not rewarding in the way prior year's were. I would never consider supporting the game with stub purchases when you continue to be this stingy
Programs (outside of the milestone related ones) suck. Innings suck. Some good free cards I will admit, but theme teams in general are not supported. captains suck. TA is a failure. nothing to grind for but stubs stubs stubs.
Exactly why as a nms, someone who doesn’t work the market and don’t play online I have not finished the live series or any collections

The biggest issue is lack of playable content and crappy rewards in the programs they do have. When they torpedoed Team Affinity at the All Star game, that killed my interest. I flip and the margins opened up a while ago so I’ve been able to finish almost every collection. I’m 4 cards away from Bautista and could buy them but want to save up a bit more so I have a nest egg for what is next. I have some hope for the August 29th drop. And today’s seems solid in terms of the amount of content. Mini seasons with repeatable missions is always a good thing

The new one, which allow you to use any card. 32 Hits for 5 show bundle, 45 Ks with starters for a deluxe (not choice) pack.

The complete lack of any rewards after the finest voucher in TA is the biggest disappointment. Are they so lazy or tight they couldn't put stubs or packs ever 50k TA points? It's over a million points from the voucher to the end with zero to earn.

@nymets1987_PSN I'm also NMS and don't play on online, I sell all the duplicate cards I get in the packs and play diamond quest and sell those cards and still have all collections done and still have 170k stubs. I completed the live series and Bautista collection last week while having my very active 2 year old nephew running around along with with my 9 year old nephew and 12 year old niece here as well so it is most definitely possible to complete collections all be it slower than other people who spend money in the game

Oh man you are soooooo right. Super stingy right!!! Only 3 FREE standard packs!!!! Just completely unfair. I mean who needs the 6 completely free 99 players or the 4 free 40k packs you get for FREE is you complete the program and mini seasons. I mean even if you don't have live series Beltran and only Kluber thats only potentially 11 completely free cards you could get for this collection be simply playing the game in a NON competitive way against the computer. Yes just completely garbage huh? Complain about something that is actually a problem in this game, not something that SDS actually does good.
