If anyone watched the tournament streams last weekend, they were all cussing out SDS…just pure toxicity.

I’m a pretty good player but I can not keep up with the top guys. I matched up against Brenton the other day. He is a late night Twitch streamer with a decent following and like 1,500 games played.

He is obviously better than me and is already over 1,000 ranked points. He proceeded to message me talking trash, bunt danced and replayed home runs completely unprovoked.

Honestly just makes me disgusted to be a part of the community and not want to play.
Of course, I can just forget it and move on, but I feel like it’s worth at least bringing up.

Along with the other thread mentioning the other negative [censored] these guys do, is this who SDS really wants carrying the flag for their game?
Anyone that is not mentally insane would just move on from this game. Yes, I am talking to myself here.

Not finding the connection between my experience I shared with a top player along with their negative behavior during tbe tournament.

They are toxic and also good at the game. Both are true.

I would never worship anyone, let alone a video game player haha.

Not trying to brag with this at all, just sharing a horrible gaming experience.

I went 4-2 in Immortal Weekend Classic. Figured I’d try to see if I can hit top 10 to land a Miz. Played a couple cheaters. One guy would just put up 5 perfect perfect home runs every time I tied the game.

I put in Rogers and he was probably a 200 rated player without his cheating app. Absolutely horrendous zone recognition and swing timing. Wanted to beat him so bad but lined out with two runners on and lost by 2. Probably would have won if I figured out he was cheating earlier, but he hid it pretty well the first half of the game.

It’s just kind of crazy to spend so much time doing the collections, practicing, etc….only to have to run into this type of player. Not sure what SDS plans to do in the future, but something absolutely has to be done. Maybe they do nothing since cheaters back Out against top streamers so the average person won’t even realize the problem exists?

Every streamer advertises stub sites that are a fraction of the cost of the SDS store. That combined with the WBC glitch is not good.

That is one aspect of this game people forget. You can easily just not do the collections and buy cards you want to use. Probably can easily afford any cards in the game if you play casually and do not participate in collections.

This company it's responsible for "unfair trade and (especially) deceptive practices" at the very least. They have outright lied to the consumers on 3 occasions that are indisputable.

Probably three seasons ago on NBA2K they advertised Kobe Bryant as the ultimate collection award. Basically that is the same as getting Beltran except you need every card in the game and it is not obtainable until the very end of the year.

A lot of people spent tens of thousands of dollars to collect the cards, if I had to guess.

I believe on the eve of Kobe becoming obtainable 2K let everyone know that Kobe would not be in the game. People assumed they lost his rights and hid it for the entire season.

If you are a pro at this game a perfect line out doesnt effect you that much. Youll square up the next one just as easily. A beginner or casual player it effects tremendously. The game has become a very negative experience for alot of players.

Not to mention foul balls. It’s essentially equivalent to a basketball player getting 10 chances to hit a free throw. Of course sooner or later it will go in.

On the other hand you will watch your opponent foul off 100 very bad timing swings.
Next inning you are slightly off on the pci within the strike zone with good timing and you go down 1-2-3 on soft contact in three pitches haha.

It’s enough to drive anyone insane.

There really needs to be a rewarding three inning game mode.

Playing nine inning games in ranked Fn sucks if you aren’t in the mood.

As someone who's tried all of these, I disagree. Pinpoint is by far the hardest. But it's also the most fun and most accurate. I had to legitimately sit in custom practice for a week before I felt comfortable enough to use pinpoint, where meter was the default I used when I first touched the game.

Idk man, maybe if you are just learning it might be hard, but after repetition it is beyond easy. Guys can throw superdots that scrape the outside edge of the zone all day on pinpoint.

Yea, we call those scripts. The PARS of most pitches should not let you touch the line every pitch.

I don’t think anyone is coming close to the good/perfect release rate from pinpoint on meter, analog or pulse. So why is the PAR bigger for those options?

It’s pretty interesting that everyone’s favorite streamers advertised these stub transfer sites that got everyone banned.

Just like YFK they will blame SDS rather than themselves or the streamers.

Same problem. Seems like SDS mistakenly banned accounts from the mobile app. It is a little comical because I do zero flipping and have probably averaged two mobile transactions a week.

That is what makes this game fun or addicting. You are always chasing that feeling of being in the zone crushing everything. Similar to golf or real baseball.

Go through slumps too changing your approach and everything just like the real sport. That is the best part of this game.

Lmao there has been no change of graphics since 2016 and all they’ve done is change lighting. What an embarrassment of a company!! That’s PS3 days!!!! How are we in 2026 and still not look any better. Even maddens graphics look polished. The game sucks but the graphics look good. The show just looks like a D- project every year and it’s pathetic.

You can really tell the difference in the animations and fps. Same for most other sports games.

I’ve never been a fan of the skill on this game being aiming a cursor like a shooting game.

I would love to see them scrap the PCI and really reward plate discipline and timing.
