Every year until recent years I always used the "classic" pci (yellow circle) and for some reason it got removed. Is there a chance that pci will come back?

You would be able to move the pci further, the corners you could get under more. You could hit a decently high pitch for a liner still, however the zone and the outer vision cone to hit the ball would shrink the further out you go

I think that they should see what happens if they let you put the zone outside of the zone more, but as you move out of the zone the outer vision cone shrinks more. This would allow skilled players to hit balls better when it's just off the plate and also make it so there would be less foul balls in the dirt and inside etc. It would only reward the zone being on the ball and being on time.

We all have good connections. It always happens when for some reason we get different pitchers in game. Like one person got Josh Donaldson and another person will get nolan ryan

I mean, the title says it all. Paid $70 for a game and the one gamemode I bought it for it literally doesn't work a full game through like 50% of the time

I want every player to feel more individual, like a guy like ichiro would really bust it out of the box for infield singles, maybe a perk to where certain guys with 125 power just absolutely crush balls instead of flying out to the warning track on perfects. I like that players have their own swings for the most part, but sometimes they push players outside of who they are to fit the meta for the game. Like John Donaldson, can't convince me he even sniffed 100 back then. A 96 mph slider and 104 mph fastball? If they just made it so guys who throw slower were more accurate and pitches moved more people would actually use them. Every sports game balances the stats horribly and instead of just actually working on the game and doing balancing patches they just cater to whatever the meta is so people spend money on cards. Like if a card came out tomorrow with 125 contact both sides with 40 power nobody would use it, when that card should be really good at getting on base, when in reality you're gonna square balls up and line out every other at bat.

I mean, the title explains it all man.... pain, pain, and more pain. The best mode in the game and it freezes. My screen has bob Gibson throwing and my friend has micheal Pineda on his pumping 104 like he's bob and there was crazy desync.

Maybe they should make the fielders slower and the runners a bit quicker, it's not like we haven't told then this before

I actually think the fielders are way too nonchalant. I think that could take some tuning to improve urgency.

Situational, see balls that should never get caught get caught and simple plays a 3rd grader could make they mess it up

They actually used to fix things, the card releases were more fun. Gameplay was better. It's honestly depressing when you look at the patch notes and they add a city connect jersey, but I release perfect pitches that go down the middle, or my fielder acts like a ball doesn't actually exist flying right at him, or the game freezes, or you hit a perfect foul ball, or I could go on and on.....

Look I get it. At some points this game is boring and frustrating. It’s a HARD game. It seems like everyone likes to complain about every little thing that SDS decides to do. But at the same time I think SDS has created the best Diamond Dynasty/MyTeam mode there is to offer from sports games.

People complain about the same game being released with a different cover athlete year after year. SDS listened and tried a new format which was and IS refreshing. Instead of giving everyone 86 overalls on day one that are obsolete by June. Turned into 95 overalls turned obsolete by June. They just gave us better cards sooner. But people still have to complain.

People complain that the content is flat and not worth grinding. But at the same time SDS doesn’t have to release these programs or cards or conquests. If you don’t play the game three hours a day for the most part there is always something to do. If you don’t want to play online you can play offline through countless of modes added throughout the years to make it better for those who like the offline grind. If you only play online they refresh ranked seasons and BR rewards. They didn’t have to add the incognito or kaiju programs but they did.

The best part about this game is you can play it and have a competitive team without spending a single dime on the game. The offer countless of free packs and rewards just by playing. People complained in previous games finishing the XP path and having nothing to do so they added a reroll. There are free packs through conquest and free cards through programs and TA. I get it that it looks like it is shifting towards Madden making cards no sell and things like that. But at the same time people complained about the BR rewards being yanked in price cause everyone was able to get them.

There is so many things people find to complain about the game. In reality I think SDS has done a really good job listening to the community and they keep pushing out content. Even if the cards aren’t as good as others you can use them in events or try them out in BR.

Anyways that’s my piece of mind.

It makes it even harder when there are numerous gameplay issues and you tend to lose often because they occur pretty often

I would never say this year is bad to compare to other sports games. It can be frustrating and a little disappointed but not bad.

I'd say most people I have talked to didn't ask for any of the content that has been added like the sets, and gameplay still needs dozens of fixes but every update has no gameplay changes. That's what trash games do.

Nah this wasn't the down year, Last year for me I despised playing the game. It was just pure very late and very early hits. This year is better but just straight garbage content just rinse cycle and repeat. Then when you have an issue with the game they give you the finger and don't respond to you or leave you hanging so hopefully I pray another company drops an MLB game because im running to them with no hesitation

Yeah, but the timing windows are bad now and don't make sense. You hit a ball to the opposite field on an away pitch and you're late? Huh? Or early? Like that's how you're supposed to hit the ball

I think every player has the right to argue questionable calls, rookie or not.

Actually rule books states that they do not have the right to argue balls and strikes and the penalty is an immediate ejection. It’s literally a rule. My gripe is only with these guys that have no service time and think that they have some God given right to make an [censored] of themselves at the plate when they strikeout looking.

I think as long as you're actually right argue away. Maybe mlb will realize they have a problem

Honestly being able to hit on legend is just how you know you play the game too much. A lot of it is just practicing on it.

If you mess the pitch up by .1 ms or by 1° I feel like the pitches shouldn't just go right down the middle 95% of the time. Also if the ball touches the zone it should be a strike and don't give me its realistic bs bc they never ever call a strike out of the zone

Yes, these horrible for-profit companies need to be stopped. It is ridiculous that they actually want to turn a profit on something they produce. I can't understand why they don't just release all of the cards for the year on day one and just give them out to everyone.

My friend, they sell the game for $70 and it is set up like a mobile game. Every game that does it gets [censored] for it, but they all do it because it is a non competition market

Should be a gold at best. .230 avg and a .403 slug isn't very impressive and he's been giving average defense in the outfield
