And there’s nothing worse than people who defend incompetence and laziness by greedy companies who obviously don’t give a [censored]. People like you are one of the reasons problems never get fixed.

Yeah it’s wild how bad they are at such obvious things. And how some issues go unfixed for years. Their incompetence blows my mind.. like bronze defenders routinely make diving plays, yet my silver infielders walk towards grounders that just roll past them. Honestly how is it even possible that a game a company makes (and literally the ONLY game they make) EVERY year can have the same issues go unfixed?? SDS is becoming worse than EA, other than the money grabbing part. But I’m sure they’ll get there eventually too. Keep sucking at life, SDS!

Seriously this has been an issue for YEARS. Like it baffles me how completely incompetent and lazy SDS can be to not fix such obvious, blatant, game breaking issues with their game. If I was in charge I would fire everyone responsible and hire competent people who don’t have their head up their [censored]. They’ll probably take time to flag or lock this but or course not actually fix the obvious issues. They should honestly be ashamed of themselves. It’s disgusting.. I can’t even comprehend how little they must care, or how no one there cares enough to deal with this?? The incompetence just really blows my mind. Way to go dirtbags!!

@sbchamps17_NSW And those Season 1 Wildcards should still count towards Program XP, just not Team Affinity. So I don’t get what you’re saying. If that were true then the Wildcards really would be 100% useless and SDS must have had a collective stroke while thinking this stuff up. And the Seasons layout is so obviously financially motivated by SDS, which is the worst part. Again I like the Seasons and I like the grind. Good idea, bad implementation.

@sbchamps17_NSW What? People are misunderstanding me or something.. That makes no sense. I didn’t say we should be able to use all Season 1 cards… I said it’s stupid that the Season 1 cards we CAN use once we unlock the Wildcard slots, don’t even count towards Season 2 Team Affinity.

Yeah LS Trea always rakes for me. Some cards like him hit for way more power than their stats. Tatis too to a lesser degree. I actually hit almost as well with my LS Adley (with Orioles boost) than the 99 Adley. I feel like sometimes I don’t even hit as well with the diamond versions of players as I do with their base card.

It would be a great set up IF the wildcards we grind to unlock would actually count towards Team Affinity, but they don’t. Which for me defeats the entire purpose and I grinded forever to unlock Rollins the last day of Season 1 only to not use him now because it’s pointless. For many of us SDS completely ruined the Wildcards with that terrible decision.

That 99 Adley is a beast card. I just found out the Wildcards don’t even count towards Season 2 Team Affinity which is wild. Like all that grinding to get Rollins for absolutely NO reason. SDS really dropped the ball with that decision. Like it’s a wildly bad oversight or just the worst/greediest decision I can remember them making..

I know a lot of people have mentioned it already. Frankly it makes no sense and seems like either a huge oversight by SDS or just a really bad decision. It completely defeats the purpose of Wildcards for people grinding Season 2 Team Affinity. So this big intended highlight of your Season Program, that you want people to grind for and be excited to use (like “oh man which card am I going to use for my wildcard slot?”) has for many people, become completely and instantly useless..
I grinded FOREVER to finally unlock Rollins the last day of Season 1. Now I unlock the first wildcard slot and find out using him doesn’t even count towards S2 TA!
Even once people finally unlock all 4 wildcard slots, 85% of our rosters will still need to be Core or Season 2 cards. So this whole explanation that the reason for wildcards not counting towards TA is to “keep our squads fresh” or whatever is nonsense.
If the reasoning is something to do with multiplayer, which I can’t see but maybe there is one (other than just making more money, which is what everyone is saying and not the look you want), then at least change it (fix it) for offline play?
Sorry for the book but this drives me nuts.. for the people that really don’t like Seasons this is like a middle finger from SDS.

I have a hardwired PS5, have tried doing tips to fix it but The Show is unplayable for me even at home. It lags and stutters so bad, there’s basically no games I would play that would run on this POS.

I relinked correctly to my PS account and can see my stubs and players online but on my console it’s still apparently linked with whatever new/blank duplicate account it must have created when I tried logging in at like 5am. Trying to link via my PS5 only shows two blank accounts so I didn’t do that. So people like me are going wtf..
